In the last few years there has been a lot of cauliflower stuff being touted as better for you if you are a low-carber. I'm still not convinced it would make a great pizza dough. Seems to me gluten is kind of important when it comes to making a good dough. Allegedly, gluten is his real enemy. That and anything to do with religion, which is what he was ranting about when he made his first posts here. Jill |

They can do it themselves or they can pay a professional. And that means cleaning the graffiti itself and repainting the surface they had defaced. |

Someone in my extended family was convicted of a $14.5 million fraud. It ruined the lives of a number of people. One of them was so shattered he suffered a fatal heart attack. |

More's the pity. There are cases where they have. There was a case a few years ago where a guy in Texas <?> reported burglars making off with his neighbour's stuff. He said he was going to shoot them. The dispatcher told him not to. He shot them anyway, and the grand jury would not indict him. |

Texas is not afraid to use the death penalty. >> whether guilty or not! > Show me one that Texas has executed that was 'innocent.' Sometimes people get off on technicalities, or after appeals years after the fact. I can think of a few cases where the guys appealed several times and were eventually acquitted, but they were probably still guilty of the crime. We had a situation here where a pathologist was the expert witness in a number of infanticide cases. His evidence was questioned in appeals and other expert witnesses disputed his claims. He ended up losing his credibility and his standing as an expert witness. In the wake of that, just about everyone who was convicted in cases where he gave evidence appealed their convictions. Since he had been the main witness and since he had lost his expert witness qualifications the crown ended up dropping the charges. That does not automatically mean that they were guilty. It just means that the prosecution no longer had a case. |

I might just try planting some of the beans I have:))) It's worth a try:)) eventually though i wanted more varieties so i've bought some from seed companies and also done a lot of trades with people on-line and at a few seed swaps. i also cross-breed and select from what i harvest what looks interesting. it can take a few years to evaluate a bean to see what it does. i have a variety of soil types to work with so that is also a part of the evaluation process. one thing i did this year was interplant a large number of beans to encourage them to cross breed. i won't know if any actually did until the seeds from this year are planted and grown (the seed coat from a cross shows the maternal color and pattern so you have to plant them to see what comes next). with as many seeds as i hope to get i'll never be able to plant all of them so some crosses can happen and won't be detected. just have to keep at it and keep trying. :) since i don't hand-pollinate or isolate plants the bugs/bees do all the crossing for me. songbird -------------------- Thanks very much:)) That is most helpful and I think I will be trying to do it your way:)))) |

Only if you have the high roast! They sell light and medium roast coffees too. I frequently go to one in Calgary to meet friends. It is well-run, they treat their employees very well and they are paid above minimum. They are also cheaper than two locally-owned coffee bars that are a mere 50m away and which I will not patronize. |

The bakery coffee shop around the corner from me was started by a young woman who developed it on her own. When she decided to quit and go and work for some overseas aid organization one of her customers bought the business and followed the old business model. She uses fair trade coffee and all of her products are made with quality products. The coffee is incredible. Her prices are about the same as $tarbucks, but the coffee is infinitely better. |
