Oh, didn't the Capitalist Tool Obama say that...LOL...!!!

Here speaks The TRUTH:

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2013/apr/08/margaret-thatcher-quotes

Margeret Thatcher:

"They are casting their problems at society. And, you know, there's no such thing as society. There are individual men and women and there are families. And no government can do anything except through people, and people must look after themselves first. It is our duty to look after ourselves and then, also, to look after our neighbours." – in an interview in Women's Own in 1987

"It is ironic that just when those countries such as the Soviet Union, which have tried to run everything from the centre, are learning that success depends on dispersing power and decisions away from the centre, there are some in the community who seem to want to move in the opposite direction. We have not successfully rolled back the frontiers of the state in Britain only to see them reimposed at a European level with a European superstate exercising a new dominance from Brussels." – in the "Bruges speech", 1988

"The president of the [European] commission, Monsieur [Jacques] Delors, said at a press conference the other day that he wanted the European parliament to be the democratic body of the community, he wanted the commission to be the executive and he wanted the council of ministers to be the senate. No. No. No." – in a debate in the Commons in 1990

Close, but we did not ALL pay for it. 44% do not pay Federal taxes but
they still drive on the federal highways.

Great, close the loopholes. I don't blame the corporations for taking
legal maneuvers. Same you you and I do on our personal taxes. Change
the rules to make them more fair.

Keep in mind, if corporations pay more tax they raise prices to offset
it and pass it on to the consumer.

That's no reason to allow them to dodge taxes, Defender of the Rich

you ever have Nutter Butter cookies?

we make a version of them very simple
using just powdered sugar, a good vanilla
and peanut butter (adjust all to taste
and texture you like) as a filling for
graham crackers.

in the middle of summer when you don't
care to turn the oven on these are good.

of course you can make the frosting in
the middle any flavors you like. butter
and some extracts or liquors (you don't
need much) and maybe a small amount of
milk (go very light as it sure doesn't
take much to make a frosting too runny).

and if you want to foray into making
bars there are Nanaimo Bars...

https://www.cookingclassy.com/nanaimo-bars/

note: i've had many versions of these not
just the plain kind in the recipe, but also
mint filled and peanut butter filled. all
good...

I love peanuts, peanut butter, and peanut butter fudge but I don't care
for peanut butter cookies either. Oh, I'll eat them but if I have my
druthers, I'd druther have a different cookie.

Someday when OhFeelMe gets internet access she'll learn how to use it to
access dozens of peanut butter cookie recipes on the internet. But for
now she's stuck using a Morse Code key to be heard.

Nope, no such sticker. I was there when it was delivered.

> BTW - how do you like that walk-in tub? Glad you bought it?

Although I have no trouble accessing a regular tub I love this walk-in
tub. When I remodeled I took into consideration if I should have any
mobility problems years down the road.

Yeah, I see the commercials as well and there is a showroom about 10 miles
north of me with these tubs. I stopped in once just to get a ballpark
figure of a tub. Nope, nada, ain't gonna give out that information, they
MUST come to your house to quote a price. I interpreted that into "MUST
come to my house to talk me into buying a tub." Btw, I'm talking about
a Safe-Step tub.

I have since learned from several people and several forums the lowest,
rock bottom price is $11,000. I had my entire bathroom remodeled for
$12,578 and that included some other small projects around the house.

i'm not sure how long a season you have there or
if you get enough light, but between peas and beans
i certainly enjoy growing and eating them in many
forms.

my main reason for gardening is meaningful exercise
as otherwise i would be inside too much and i hate
going to a gym or riding on a stationary bike or
walking on a treadmill. if i can hike or walk an
outdoor trail that is ok and i also like kayaking
and canoeing, but there's not much of that i want
to do around here (water is too slow and too
polluted).

Was there some kind of ceremony? Maybe they tapped you on the

I made way too much meatloaf a couple days ago. I'm sure that I'm not
the first to cut big cold chunks of meatloaf into cubes, simmer in
spaghetti sauce and use for spaghetti and meatballs.
Well...penne and meatballs in my case. The meatloaf cubes tasted just like
meatballs to me, and as a bonus, they didn't roll around on the plate
like those round ones do.

All I'm going to ask about this stupid, self-serving post is do you ever
proof-read the garbage you splatter on this group? No need for me to
rant, nobody can take away first place from you.

"Super taster" what a joke; super conceited idiot is more like it. You
don't like hot food, that doesn't make you a 'super-taster.' Moron.

"lounge" I suppose that idiotic mistake is actually tongue and if it
was it was spelled wrong if you were going to substitute that l for a t.

"to hot" should be too. You should have learned this in elementary school.

"thing" is things and only one (1) period is needed at the end of the
sentence.

I don't think I can knock you out of first place with getting the most
laughs on this group.
