No chasing your meatballs around the plate??

Nope. I don't have to spear them when they slide onto my lap which is
painful. I've suddenly become a big fan of cubic meatballs.

In the late 70's, McDs apple and cherry pies were definately fried in a
deep vat.

That's called a little over three pounds on the mainland. I don't
believe I've ever seen an avocado that big.

Naw, he doesn't qualify. He has to be USA born to be elected to the
Presidency of the USA.

Gas and sales taxes all end up in the same pot.

They would pass the added costs to the consumer. OTOH, there's a limit as to how much they can pass on. That is, if the free market economic theories actually work.

Avocados that large aren't that rare. I've had bigger. My guess is that places in Australia will grow giant avocados too. Hawaii has the record for biggest avocado in the world but I doubt that this record will stand for long. The weird thing about it is that these giant fruits pretty much taste like regular fruits. Once they're sliced up, there's nothing special about them - except that they're delicious.

Great, close the loopholes. I don't blame the corporations for taking

They? The corporations are legal entities, just like humans. That
passing on the tax thing applies all the way down the line. It is
always the consumer that ends up paying the tax that the corporation
hands over to the government.

I have expressed my feelings about paying for work under the table and
have been honest about it. I would like to think that all contractors
are submitting proper invoices, collecting sales tax and declaring their
income. OTOH, if I hire someone to do a job for for me and he works
under the table I won't have to pay the sales tax. Not will I have to
pay him extra for the taxes he will have to pay, be they for the
business or for his income tax. The thing is that I am well aware that
whatever taxes he is paying will be coming out of my pocket.

Or she can just buy one of those bags of cookie mix, like betty
crocker. Only have to add butter and milk maybe, and they're pretty
good.

You'd think as much as she claims she cooks she'd have a peanut butter
cookie in her repertoire y.e.a.r.s. ago.

What on earth is wrong with asking someone for a recipe in RFC?

I don't WANT a bunch! I like to make so little I pay ZERO taxes! And since I have a house that pays me I can afford to! :-)

Facts are facts.  I have nothing to research.  I'm also not "rich".
Upper-middle class is about right.

Alex = NAILS IT

Kuthe is one of the LAZIEST fucks I've lately encountered...he has feckless excuses for everything that he fails to do...I mean who would come onto a public forum and *brag* that their hours and pay had been *reduced* to the point of a P/T minimum wage gig, a normal - brained person would be deeply embarrassed by the sitch, LOL...!!!

A pal in STL bought a huge old house (pretty cheaply) on Flora Avenue, lovely bosky nabe by the MO Botanic Garden...it was about ten times the size of Kuthe's home, and needed a lot more work. He worked 50+ hours per week at an IT job. BUT he found plenty of time to rehab his place, it was a showcase when he finished. Natcherly - unlike Kuthe - he was ambitious and was a "go - getter", he later sold the house for a handsome profit...

Yeah, but did the guy also have a super duper stereo system that he
also had to work on?

How about Injun tennants that need to be taken care of?

An electric car to maintain and provide funds for crash repair?

A job requiring loss of a few hours each week?

Kuth's been tending to lots more than just his house.

I knew that, although I thought it was further to the south. It's
basically North North Carolina.
