Pah! That's no proof of your cat. Could be a stunt cat or a
rent-a-cat for the picture.

Be sure to refill it with Pompeian Robust evoo. It's the best.
It's Squertz approved.

I didn't see the cat at first, but then I spotted it right next to
your exercise machine.

Lol! We need a pic of Jill "ripping" on that machine. I'm sure
the
cat lost interest right away after checking it out for a moment.
meh heh

I'll be heading out to mow the back field once the dew burns off, some
4 acres of mowing from an air conditioned cab with the radio set on an
Oldies station. It's hot but I won't notice.

Roma tomatoes are intended for cooking in sauces and such . They're not
particularly good as a slicing tomato ... very meaty and very little
juice . There are however several Rutgers tomato plants out there , and
there are some half-ripe fruits on some of them . I see some BLT's
coming in a week or so . Fresh tomatoes and bacon are two of my wife's
favorite foods ... I kinda like 'em too !

That's why I like them for slicing. That, and when I buy them they're
generally a little riper than the other tomatoes. I've pretty much
switched to grape tomatoes because the cube-square law enables growers
to pick them at a greater stage of ripeness.

Yep. I've got bacon on my shopping list.

We had calzones night before last , but I made them with the same
toppings as we use for pizza . And plenty of sauce inside , we like them
juicy . I guess technically they are pizza pockets - big ones , enough
for 2 meals each .

Where did you hear that?

Probably from Sheldon's fantasies.

My age is a sad time to be single. I'm good friends with a
couple of attractive younger women (30's) but I don't
mistake their friendliness as a sign of "interest."

I accept "just friends." Better than nothing. I would
never embarrass myself to ask one out for a date.
I know my place.

It was irony.

Yeah, if happens, let it come from them :)

You're good with inside temp up to 95F ?
That temp would kill all ferrets and probably me too.
My A/C goes on once temp gets to about 85F inside.

You must have very low humidity at that temp.

Humidity's very high here in spring, summer and autumn. I hate airco.

I sincerely apologize. I didn't pay attention to the headers, and I really

All I've seen around here is Rapa brand scrapple.
The plain is good but their "scrapple with bacon" is much
tastier. I always look for that.

Just cut a few slices and cook until crisp on the outside
like any sausage. I like to slice mine about 3/8" thick
or so. Crisp on outside but soft inside.

Does your scrapple have innards in it, or just muscle meat?

-Coffee grounds contain caffeine. Plants that produce caffeine do so
because it kills off competing plants in the surrounding area.
-Coffee grounds are highly acidic. Do your plants want that?
-Coffee grounds are high in nitrogen. Do your plants want that?

"Applying spent coffee grounds directly to urban agriculture soils
greatly reduces plant growth."

I don't see anything overtly Chinese. I occasionally have scrambled eggs
with tomatoes.

I'm sure you have other colors available that would harmonize better with
your brick house.

He has that nice looking dark red on his front door and on the
dormers. Would be a good color on his back deck too.

His front porch color could be that too or a traditional
medium gray. Not regular house paint though. Should be a
porch and floor enamel that dries much harder and is made
to be walked on.

There are many usenet groups that no one post to anymore. Any
one of them would be good for a test post.

When a post starts out with "Hey guys," that's enough warning
to me to not mess with it.
