I didn't write that, Leo. Greg Sorrow and another coward are posting
under my name.

I really never knew what tapas were. Your photo looks kind of like a Spanish
antipasto. It's a beautiful photo and tasty looking as always.

My dad used to fry up slices of Vogt's Scrapple from a can. It was all his.
Mom and I wouldn't touch it. I made the mistake of reading the ingredient
list. There was lots of pork "stuff and such". I didn't mind the stuff,
but I couldn't abide the such.

Is "hen fruit" a yank slang term for "tomato"?

like many things, it makes a lot of difference how much
you use.

spread them around on the lawn and over the course of a
year they'd probably not be noticed. dump them all in one
place and then, yeah, a different story.

i don't drink coffee or tea often enough for this ever
to be an issue.

Unfortunately, they won't allow access from Scotland. What does the
article say?

I'm eating quite a lot of bread tonight. I like the metaphor. I did mow the
lawn, take a shower and am doing the laundry. It was 91F when I mowed the
lawn, so I need to carb up and am doing my best.

It was 99° here today and I made sure to NOT go outside except to the
mailbox.

Our humidity is almost always very low. I run a swamp cooler that won't work
with wet heat, and swamp coolers save a bundle in electricity costs if they
can be used. With wet heat, I'd have ended up dead on the lawn.
We have been in the mid-nineties for three solid weeks but haven't hit a
hundred yet, I don't think.

Those swamp coolers are pretty cool. They work great where my sister-in-law live in Oroville, CA. The time I went there, the place was dry as a bone and like a tinderbox ready to explode. I like fire the same as the next guy but that was ridiculous.

Those coolers won't work in my little town with 80% humidity. I got my AC window unit on at the moment and boy, the racket is kinda nuts.

Very sensible. I do my own hair, my favourite treatment is Jheri Curl.

have long hair and the pony tail, but it's just too hot
in the summer.

My wife cuts my hair but she waits as long as she thinks she can. She
won't do it until I look like a deranged mountain hippie.

Made about 2 cups of filling for this one. All cheese.Still looked skimpy so
I put a good layer of Mozzarella on top. All went well! Remembered the salt
this time. About a teaspoon of the filling leaked out but that was no big
deal. Pretty sure that was a matter lf not getting a tight seal in one spot
and not overfilling. Yum!

Only problem? I ate too much. Those things are filling! I did eat asst.
olives on the side.

I haven't seen that line of beans from Bush's. I will try them when I
see them.
