I've never been in a co-op. What I did discover is that Safeway and Albertsons don't sell Swiss. Neither does the QFC near me. Every QFC is different. Some sell things that others don't. I can get Swiss at Walmart, Winco and Fred Meyer. > home. Can you blame anyone for not wanting to eat a reheated pre-cooked > steak? UGH! Oh, and there were the frozen 'Hot Pockets' you thought the > gardener and Angela might like. Oh dear. That is not true about my ex. I complained once when I made some sort of special dinner for him and he stopped for Pho on the way home. One time. One! But on RFC it somehow morphed into something else. That doesn't matter any more. We've been divorced for over two years now and he can make or get his own food. As for the cooked meat, I made the mistake once. Yes, again, ONCE of buying some bad meat. My SIL who does not cook, bought tons of this meat, thinking it was some special that only she could get (it wasn't) and giving it to people. Thing was, in order to get the meat, you had to buy a ton of it. Yes, I cooked it all. Yes, I put it in the freezer. And when I discovered it was bad, I threw it all out. When Angela was living here, she ate plain, cooked chicken breasts. I did buy those, cook them and freeze them. She could go to the freezer and get one. That worked for her. There were no complaints. I eat ground beef. I do cook that in advance. Sometimes plain. Sometimes taco seasoned. All portioned out into single servings. I generally only do this when I buy a large package. I haven't bought a large package for some time as I've been findng the 1 pound packages. The hot pockets were a marked down item and I didn't pay much for them. You don't live with others and you don'[t buy food for others. I would never expect others to eat what I eat every day since my diet is limited. > Never mind. I've got my own problems to deal with. Good luck with > shopping again. Hope you can find some actual meat. There is no > regulation in Bothell that says you can only buy food every two weeks. Like I said... I won't be shopping for some time. I think I have everything I need for the time being. Might buy some cottage cheese as that doesn't keep for long, and probably some more beverages. Just looked at then closet in my room as I stashed some food in there. Will probably use the last of the ground beef with boxed mac and cheese. And now? I'm going to go outside for some cooler air and read the book about Dave Grohl. Dinner will be mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, and a piece of cheese. |

Probably some sort of fried potato is more common (hash browns etc). Grits are primarily in deep south and along the coastal areas of the south. Fast and easy to fix with very little effort. Just pour the dry ones in with water and let them cook. |

Not to the taste buds and now that your vision has improved, you might want to check that. Grits are thick and go on the plate. Cream of Wheat is thin and runny and goes in a bowl. |

The ONLY time I "raced" my Nissan Leaf was in 2016 when I was stopped at a red light next to a young kid in a Honda or something on a lovely Fall day and I slid the passenger window down and looked over at him and asked him if he wanted to "go for it"? He nodded yes so I slid the passenger window back up as I heard him revving his Internal Combustion Engine powered POS as I smiled and placed my foot over the accelerator pedal of the Leaf and thought to myself "He has no idea what to expect!" When the light turned green I floored it and he tried to keep up but with the immediate TORQUE my Leaf has he just could not and by the time I got to a little jog in the road I looked at my speedo and was going 75MPH and was still accelerating! I beat him to Delmar too and educated him about electric cars! :-) And when first off the red light I regularly once again will beat every ICE vehicle on the road across any street! It's that quick! It'll just get bent up again in a few weeks. If he used insurance, by now he would have been dropped or the rates would be astronomical. He's probably figured this out and taken the best approach for his situation. |

The electric car will have a range that's not possible with gas cars. It will allow people to keep their beloved big trucks and SUVs because they'll be more economical to run than even small gas cars. The batteries will outlast the cars they're installed in and they'll be commodity items used for industrial and household power storage long after their primary usage in cars. Batteries are going to be a very big thing. |

Many times the movie or its' ending is nothing like the book. For many directors a book is just a jumping-off point of how they want the movie to come across. |
