Oh good lord. If someone crashed into your car and you called the cops
when it happened, they'd have investigated. If there were witnesses,
they'd have asked questions. They'd have checked traffic cameras. Even
way out here in the sticks where I live there are traffic cameras. You
said they found a piece of a white car that hit yours. What did you pay
$4196 for?!

Someone else brought up insurance. Collision insurance would have taken
care of the repair (including any body work). All you'd have had to do
was pay the deductible, which wouldn't be anywhere near $4000. You
really like throwing money away, don't you?

You were ripped off (yet again). Obviously you don't have sufficient
insurance coverage otherwise all you'd have had to do was pay the
deductible, which wouldn't have been anywhere near $4000.

I suspect you have either a very bad driving record or are too simply
don't know enough to pay for full insurance (Liability & Collision, aka
Comprehensive). You bought the car used to begin with. I have no idea
why you think spending $4000 to fix it is a good thing. You can buy a
2012 Leaf for what you paid to fix that one.

Speaking of performance, have you raced many other cars lately?
I remember you having lots of drag races not too long ago. Just
about every day for a while.

Before you ever junk it, you could have a lot of fun running in the
demolition derby at the county fair. Using only electricity, ZERO
gasoline!

I PAID for the damage done to my car because I chose NOT to carry collision insurance! I only have minimally required car liability insurance as required by MO LAW! YOU are the ones getting so royally FLEECED by insurance corporations who have convinced you that giving them all your MONEY!

And you also CHOOSE to still burn gasoline just because it's what you've always done and probably built your lifestyle around it! :-(

Different performance metric! My Leaf has the license plate "INF-MPG" for a REASON! INFinite MPG! I bought a gallon of gasoline and put in my garage and no matter how far I drive my Nissan Leaf that gallon stays FULL!

How many dollars worth of POISON to you BUY to drag race? HA! :-(

I'd rather get the old one fixed for 4000 than get a new old one for
4000.

I bought my 2013 Leaf at a Bommarito Used Vehicle lot in 2016 after a completely unexpected $80,000 inheritance I got from my aunt, my father's younger sister. I paid just under $10,000 for it, and it's the best car I've owned ever since! Almost ZERO maintenance, uses ZERO gasoline, etc.! And now I had to pay another $4000 to get the rear end mechanicals replaced after probably being hit my a stolen car. I'm just glad I had all that money when I needed it! :-)

I didn't ask if wild rice was popular. I cannot imagine canned wild
rice being palatable at all. Sounds like it would be over-cooked mushy
stuff. I merely mentioned you have never seemed to have problems buying
food online even before this pandemic.

That's simply not true. The stay at home orders do not prevent you from
going to the store.

I don't like ground chicken or ground turkey, either. Then again, I've
never had a doctor insist I eat ground meat of any kind.

Popcorn isn't healthful. Then again, you've *always* had shopping
problems. The vegetables from the co-op weren't what you wanted. Limp
celery. No such Swiss cheese in Bothell!

I recall numerous posts where you you were given suggestions and when
provided you said "Ewww! I don't like that" and/or "no one else will eat
it". Your ex-husband made a point of eating before he came home from
work because he didn't want to eat what you had cooked. Surely you
remember you said you used to buy meat and cook it all at once when you
got it home. Can you blame anyone for not wanting to eat a reheated
pre-cooked steak? UGH! Oh, and there were the frozen 'Hot Pockets' you
thought the gardener and Angela might like. Oh dear.

Never mind. I've got my own problems to deal with. Good luck with
shopping again. Hope you can find some actual meat. There is no
regulation in Bothell that says you can only buy food every two weeks.

That sounds a lot better. Good luck with your problems and remember
you can always ask RFC to solve them for you.

Are all ass sniffers also busybodies? It would seem a natural result.

I just checked, and the past 3 weeks I posted about 40 messages.
That's about 2 per day, with a max of 4 days 'absence' last week.

Notwithstanding those here who feel compelled to follow-up to every post,
you should not forget that most people read much more posts than they
write.

Well, I had already pretty much embarked on the whole affair with the
idea that my complaint would be addressed only if someone at ES knew
enough of the technical matters to know that a fix or work-around could
be done with minimum effort. I was thus 'overloading' my side of the
dialogue with as much testing & other legwork as seemed reasonable in
order that someone might be able to suggest a quick fix.

Perhaps I should ask Steve for help. I seem to recall that he has a
somewhat special rapport with the guy who runs ES.

No only hacked, but trashed and they used it as a doorway to get to the host server. Needless to say the webhost killed the site.

So my cookbook website is completely ruined. I still have the archived shot, but now it's going to take completely rebuilding the site because the template was up for a couple of years and it's now not upgradable anymore.

What a pain. I'm going to have to go to a whole new template and site. Arg.

Don't know if anyone here used the HIzzoners.com site but if you did and need one of the recipes just ask here and I'll post it for you.

I'm so sorry to hear this! I've always enjoyed reading the recipes you
posted here from the Hizzoners site. I've saved a good number of them
over the years. What a PITA. Best of luck rebuilding. (Don't have a
backup?)
