Rutger Hauer, of course.

Oh, Carice van Houten. And I _have_ seen her in something besides
Game of Thrones.

I had to Google for her. She's recent enough that I wouldn't
spontaneously think of her, but when I see her name I recognize
it as Dutch.

I remember the first color stain. He had spilled a bit of
paint on his driveway. He then took a hose to wash it off
and created a large puddle of paint-dyed water but then
just left it there to dry rather then continue to hose
off all the colored water.

He sent before and after hosing pictures. It was a
disturbing thing to see.

The second color probably the same thing or maybe he's
washing his brushes on the driveway and not washing
it all off.

Yes, she'd be the second best known Dutch actor/actress
internationally. Probably better known than Hauer with younger people.

When the list of Dutch actors turned up, I recognized a couple of
others as well.

Let's not forget Milhouse van Houten from the Simpsons and Emily VanCamp
(Oohlala!). I thought Rutger Hauer was German, so I learn something every day
and, alas, forget it the next.

I don't know of any others who made it abroad (not counting Belgium
and Germany). Unless anybody knows Derek de Lint, Renee Soutendijk or
Jeroen Krabbé.

I know about Jeroen Krabbe; I've seen him in a couple of U.S. movies.

I washed off the pink and purple paint cups on the pavement on purpose! I also dripped pink and purple paint on some stepping stones too!

More colorful! :-)

Now that they have your money, good luck with the keys.
This sounds way too suspicious to me. Nobody knows anything,
not even the post office?

If I was forced to pay for a mailbox key, I would tell anyone
to meet me at the box WITH my keys. Only until I got the
keys and made sure they worked would I pay for them.

You and Kuthe are both single with tenants.
You're both about the same age.
I think you two should get married and live oddly ever after.

Everyone has been given a different answer from the Post Office, so they're
no help.

I don't have a tenant. I do have as BF though.

Why not pepper? I always use pepper in my coleslaw dressing.

Many years ago I heard (somewhere) about a light lunch or snack
consisting of good crackers*, each with a slice of apple and
a slice of cheddar cheese.
That also included glass of dry white wine. ;)
I seem to remember that it was a French thing.

Very good combo and I've had that occasionally for years.

More recently, I heard about adding the cheese along side
of a slice of apple pie. Sounded strange to me until I
realized it was still cheese with apple. I tried it and
it is good although I rarely eat apple pie that way.
Mostly, I'll eat pie plain or sometimes with vanilla
ice cream.

* Good cracker - not a saltine or anything like that.
I've had many good ones but can't remember the brands
right now. "Sociables" is an old one that comes to mind though.

Anytime I've ever bought a 3lb bag of small ones, they are
always a bit mushy and mealy, just like you described.
After a few tries, I quit buying them. They often are "on sale"
and I can understand why.

Then there are the very large ones in a loose bin. You pay
twice as much but they are always nice and crisp. That's
what I buy now.

They are and even better when you pick them a bit early when
they are still slightly sour.

An unripened sweet apple is good to me. The ripened sour
Granny Smith apples are different. They have a bitter taste
that I don't like at all.

Twice as much just for better quality? Gary, you're losing your touch.

Personal preference. You wouldn't believe how much pepper I put on a steak.
Or salt, for that matter. When I do a vinegar, oil, sugar coleslaw dressing,
I do use pepper. The one who counts likes my mayo-sour cream slaw better.

Ah. The one who counts likes pepper in my mayo-based slaw dressing. He
doesn't care for a vinaigrette-type slaw, so I always make that one
serving at a time just for myself.
