With TWO YEARS worth of compost on it, on top of bags of topsoil! :-)

Looks like those "gardens" suffer from severe neglect...or is that just how things look in the white trash "ghetto"...???

I spray the large tomatoes with water, then sprinkle some of this on them to deter the squirrels. https://www.amazon.com/Laxmi-Ex-Hot-Chilli-Powder-Grams/dp/B076ZZBJYL

I am a student for real. I am attending the last year of the Master of
Science in Marketing Management at Bocconi University in Milan (Italy).
Please see the name of my university in the link I sent.
For my master's thesis I am studying the impact of Covid-19 on pasta
purchasing habits in the US market. Before Covid, I was doing an
internship in New York at a company in the pasta sector.

It's an academic research project: all the data will be treated
anonymously and will not be disclosed, according to the current privacy
legislation. Indeed you are not required to give personal information.
I am trying to spread the survey on different channels/forums/social
media because I need to collect at least 150 answers in order to
consider the reasearch valid. Otherwise, I will not be able to
graduate.

I thought that here I would meet people who are interested in
cooking/food and so would willing to help me! If you are not interested
you are not required to partecipate, but please do not say false things
without even a single proof. Thank you.

However, I am available for further questions if you want more details!

Sounds interesting. The only pasta I've bought this year was Korean and Chinese noodles. Sorry about that.

This is not a good group to poll since they're kind of grumpy and uncooperative. They're pretty much all in the over 65 age range which, I think, is not a useful group as far as spotting trends goes. You might want to contact the National Pasta Association.

Well, there you go. You fooled us with the email address. We sort of
expected a .edu domain for a study instead of foodbanter.

Sounds good. I wouldn't make beans that way but I'd certainly eat it made that way.

For breakfast yesterday, I made pancakes. For dinner I had katsu curry. Chicken cutlets with Japanese style curry. The plate came with a quart of curry. Oh boy!

Well hell, that's not surprising. You shop at the crack dawn, get pissed
off because the bank is not open before 7:00 a.m. and then back home. No
wonder you've never been near anyone who reeks of garlic, you're the only
out besides the chickens so early in the day.

I see, since I like to wear ruby red lipstick I automatically wear heavy
makeup and drown myself in perfume. Try again, you keep losing in this
conversation.

Comes out in their pores. Great tasting in a dish but heavens, the stench
all day and the next day. I love the stuff but make a point of not eating
it for at least two days before a doctor or dentist appointment.

I suppose it's still on the market but I recall seeing in the pharmacy area
of stores garlic capsules being sold with the guarantee of no garlic smell.

Goose, you need to get your nose out of Gary's butt and come up for air
occasionally. It's not good to be constantly breathly obnoxious fumes.

It's true though, with the way you mouth off and name call people who
haven't done anything to you. And then you're a normal person again
for a day and then it starts again. Like a form of Tourette's.

He has a snorkel he uses to grab an occasional breath. Saves a lot
of time, so he can sniff longer.

If you put in dishes, glassware, cookware, or bakeware, then it is
not a Popeye approved procedure.

I went to see "Star Wars" with a friend and my wife. It must have been in 1977. We ate at a place by the University and talked about the movie. The owner of the place brought out a plate of nachos. He seemed quite proud that he had made it and I remember it being quite a large pile. The nachos were good and we agreed that "Star Wars" was going to change everything that came after it. It was a good evening, sitting out on the sidewalk in the balmy, tropical night.

Just another blockbuster that I never want to see. More for kids than
for adults.
