We once checked out a house that had a built-in fryer. It was a Chinese style house with a galley kitchen that was open on both ends. I would have enjoyed cooking and frying in such a kitchen. |

I'd try that except that I don't drink alcohol. These days, I can't even drink diet Pepsi because it messes up my stomach. Regular Pepsi is okay though. |
| dsi1 <dsi123@hawaiiantel.net>: Jul 12 10:48AM -0700 > Half white wine and half diet coke? I think I'll try that right away. Hey, I've always liked Hawai'ians anyway. I was there back in the early 2000s. I remember during Christmas with two other people, I visited that large buffet in Waikiki - Tokai, I think it was called. I was meaning to try that place for years but never did. It sounded pretty good. I think it closed down several years ago. It was called "Todai" although I suppose that hardly matters now. I like the 100 Sails Restaurant in the Waikiki Prince Hotel. OTOH, who knows if it will survive all this? My guess is that about a third of the restaurants on this rock will be gone for good. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/100-sails-restaurant-and-bar-honolulu-2 |

You don't fool me. :) Using the drummies and tips to make stock is one thing, but the middle section is the single most prized, and per pound, the most expensive part of the chicken. Deep fry them. The tips are nice fried too. The drummies are good for stock because of the nice bone. --Bryan |
