Something we discuss on RFC every time the results of the U.S.
2016 election are mentioned. Betweentimes, you can find information
on it using your favorite search engine.

We could close RFC and all switch to Google.

I know. Electoral college is what Americans always bring up when
they're embarrassed because they've elected a moron as president
again.

"It wasn't us, it was the electoral college!"

I have a feeling that the Electoral College isn't going to
affect the election outcome this year.

Sounds like kangaroos are just as stupid as moose when it comes
to avoiding cars.

You should have it too. My policy isn't handy but last time I
looked, it was less than $10 on a 6-month policy. Mine is
renewed every 6 months.

As in the result will be clearer than that this time? It's important
that you, the Average American, says that!

Hopefully they are ashamed of themselves

Mr Trump is thinking of delaying the elections due to Covid, he
pictures himself as a copy of Robert Mugabe.

Only 2 more interesting things to see/hear before the
elections.

1) Biden will announce his VP pick next week.
Prediction is a black female. Certainly politically
correct this time around.

Not mentioned but I'll bet you he asked Michele Obama
if she was interested. She's very popular and would
probably guarantee a win.

2) The 3 debates in Sept-Oct should be quite interesting.
I suspect Trump will "win" those debates but will it
be enough to win the election?

Why do you say, "stupidmarket?"

One should always be nice to strangers. You never know who
you're dealing with.

Just a thought - Julie is too young to apply for Medicare so I
suspect she get's it through her SS Disability thing. She might
not pay anything for it.

Julie?

That sounds like a supplemental plan with an HMO. They give you
a list of doctors that you can go to and be covered.

I'm suprised though that they wouldn't allow an Urgent Care
place. I've used those in the past and they don't
charge any higher than a regular doctor does.

I used 3 thick slices of some kind of take home and bake more bread, EVOO, freshly ground black pepper, shredded parmesan cheese (then toaster oven again!), chop 2/3 of a fresh tomato, a mess of fresh wet basil, cleaned well, and some shredded Gruyere cheese all mixed together and toasster ovened again, cooked, eaten! :-)

You scored with that one, John. Looks and sounds excellent.

I do NOT like al dente beans but then the rest of your recipe
indicates cooking longer with the other ingredients. Maybe they
softened up by then.

Tried sake once long ago. Not so good.

We were high school seniors just drinking anything we could
get our hands on. I do remember it was Gordon's gin.

Even though they advertise how good and old school it is, I've
heard that it's bottom shelf and not good.

I remember taking one drink and it was awful. I even asked
the girl, "How can you drink that?"

I think Ed lives more on the west coast of Florida. (?)
Shouldn't affect him too much.

You and I are right on the predicted path though.
Just watched the 5am update. It's now a cat 1 hurricane.
Should be in your area sometime Monday and then my
area sometime Tuesday.

This is early for an east coast hurricane. Usually most
come in September.
