while you were away, Kuthe tried to entice April (or was it June?)
ateller from his bank, to start dating him. IIRC she was a little
older than him so possibly more warm than hot. Anyway April wasn't
having any and gave him the push.

Yes he does, pay attention. Daughter and grandkids.

I used to make recycled stuff for a charity to sell; I had a
brilliant idea for a manbag made out of a beautiful old tweed jacket.
It was lined with the original silk and had various pockets (inside and
out). Plus a shoulder strap made from a sleeve. The sale label said
"Mangag , for the man who has everything buy nowhere to put it. It never
sold so eventually I took it home and gave it to John, who very rarely
uses it, don't know why as his pockets are always laden with essential
manstuff. I've used the manbag more often than he has. I still think
it's a great idea and a great bag but it must be ahead of its time.

No AC sucks this time of year. You were fortunate with only 31 hours I
saw where CT will have some out until Tuesday.

When I was coming up 95 Tuesday afternoon I saw at least 40 trucks from
power companies heading north to help out. I was supposed to leave
Monday but would have caught up with the storm and be in it for the trip.

Instead of a flashlight, there are some LED lanterns that give lots of
light and last for many hours on a few D cells.

Yes, I saw that. As bad as my situation was, there's always
worse situations.

I have 3 things to buy before September which is normal hurricane
season here.

1) a little personal battery fan (3")
2) small battery radio
3) a lantern rather than a flashlight.

I'll also not buy much freezer items until hurricane season ends.

Isaias? Not different from Isaiah, which is a fairly common

That is a long time. Makes me glad I have a generator.

I wish way worse than that on people all the time. The fuckers at my job who don't wear masks, I wish they'd die alone, gasping for breath. I say alone, but I'd kinda like to, as they say, be a fly on the wall.

Even though we still feel and think young, we are ancient ppls
now.
Just ask any teenager.
Especially once you turn 60, it's all downhill from here. Just be
thankful that you are still a few years younger than me.

The Plus is a ml of CBD oil and a drip of Hershey's syrup for flavor!

I get my CBD oil at Lazarus Naturals. As an RN I looked for the lowest per mg price and they seem to have it! Great CBD Balm too, I buy their rose scented! Good stuff!

Too bad it's all made with Palm Oil. Oil Palms are what's being grown in South America, and is stripping away acres and acres of rainforest and many species and causing the 6th Extinction, the first time in geologic time caused by ONE SPECIES! Homo Sapiens! The 5th Extinction was caused my a six mile wide meteor that went meteorite and caused the extinction of the Dinosaurs 65 million years ago!

Sorry but a cup of coffee made with rose scented CBD oil and
chocolate syrup sounds like a panzie cup of coffee to me. ;)

I think it was the CBD balm that was rose-scented, not the oil he puts
in his coffee. I can't imagine having chocolate in coffee every day,
but to each their own. John definitely loves his sweets.

My husband takes CBD capsules so he doesn't have to taste it. Even then
he has to be careful what he buys or it repeats on him.

NO, the rose scented CBD Wax is body balm. Not for internal use. I put it wherever I shave, on my skin, not in my coffee.

Lazarus Naturals CBD oils are Classic flavor, and taste kinda weird but very therapeutic! Did you know that cannabis was on the U.S. Pharmacopeia before the FDA was invented? Pre-1900? In fact our Founding Fathers grew hemp for it's industrial uses, and the original copies of the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution was written on hemp paper?

True story, look it up!

And the drip of Hershey's syrup is to make my coffee mocha flavored.

Is the water melon for decoration? It doesn't complement any of the other
flavours.

For that matter, I'm not sure chicken adds anything to spare ribs.

Are you sure you haven't mixed together several dishes?

That looks delicious. I might even try the beans, although I'm not
a fan.

I've never thought it was showing off but maybe some
restaurant dish that combined 2 things that people
might not eat often at home. So splurge and get both
at one time out. Still odd combination though.

Personally, I would make the lobster the star of a seafood
platter along with some fried shellfish and a couple of
sides like fries and coleslaw.

My favorite steak dinner would be with (optional fried in
the pan mushrooms and onions) then with a side of salty
shoestring fries and some buttered corn or a fresh tossed
salad.

With any meat meal, I don't ever want to just eat bite
after bite of meat. I want to break it up with a bite of
a side too.

I have a friend that only eats shrimp when he makes it.
I like it with sides too. I'll cook about 1/2 pound
of shrimp and add other things. My shrimp lasts longer
than his does.

I do various things with leftover steak. Sometimes I slice it and
have it on a salad. Sometimes a cold steak sandwich (with mayo and
horseradish, for preference, and maybe a paper-thin slice of raw onion).
Sometimes I fry up a bunch of onions, slice up the steak and add it
to the onions just to heat through, and have it on a bun with some
pickled hot peppers and provolone.

In this odd world, there is always someone for everyone if they
need someone.

Those of us that live alone choose to do so. Not everyone
*needs* to have someone around but many people do.
At this point in my life I love living alone.
That might change someday but for now it's what I choose.

"Better to be alone and deal with occasional loneliness than
to live with an annoying person all the damn time."

Hey! I already have to live daily with one annoying person.
Why would I want to bring in another?
