Almost 4-1/2 years ago, when I was out knocking doors, a hardcore right-winger was
sitting on his porch smoking a cigarette, and he gave me shit, even though I hadn't
come onto his property. I'm sure that he was very happy from Nov. 2016 to Nov. 2020.
I'm getting this printed on 4x6 photo paper at Walgreen's, addressing it to him, and on
Tuesday I'll buy a postcard stamp and drop it in the mail. He'll have no idea who sent
it to him, but I hope it raises his blood pressure enough to give him an aneurism.

I drove by the guy's house while my son and I were driving around Ferguson looking at
houses, and I recognized it. It is very easy to find out the name of the owner of a house,
and it amused me that he was named Donald. Here's what I plan to write on the
"postcard."

First you're out knocking on doors for political reasons. Just as
annoying or more than the Mormons or Jehovah Witnesses.
 
Second, you still have a grudge with someone that didn't agree with your
politics and coming to convince him to switch his vote after 4 1/2 years
ago ???

I tried a Beyond Burger just to see what the fuss is all about. IIRC my
"backup burger" was scrambled eggs.
 
Some omnivores might eat meat replacements because they think the
replacements are more healthful than beef.

I used to watch that show occasionally. He often did his own commercials
for a sponsor right as a part of the show.
 
A classic funny one:
One night he did one for a brand of dog food. They put some in a bowl
then brought out a dog to eat it.
 
The dog was led to the bowl, took one sniff then wandered off.
So they brought him back to the bowl and again, he sniffed it and
wandered away.
 
That wasn't supposed to happen so Cavett dropped down on his knees and
pretended to eat some, then looked back up and said something like, "yum
yum, this food is delicious."
 
Good "save" and so funny.

i'm going on my 2nd year with a new type of pea pod i'd not
grown before. my previous attempts i'd always gotten poor
results, either the peas didn't even grow, or if they did they
didn't get many pods on them, or if they got pods they didn't
get enough seeds so i'd not have enough to replant.

these were large crunchy pods, plenty of pods and plenty of
seeds.
 
i had to send some of my seed crop back to the person who
sent me the seeds because he had a crop failure last season
so i was happy to be able to send him some back.
 
hope to have a nice big patch of them this season and we'll
