WTF? On Linux? It seems absurd that Firefox on Linux would work so poorly, but that's what I'm using right now. I have boatloads of memory to spare, but it still stalls things up. If I put in the SSD that has Win7, the computer will always boot Windows. Can I migrate things like bookmarks from Firefox for Linux to Firefox for Windows? --Bryan |

OK, I've been lazy about paying for a newsserver, but this impersonating crap is out of control. I'm working short days this week, and I should put my Win7 drive in, and say, "Fuck this Linux that doesn't take advantage of the absurd amount of RAM I mistakenly bought." I don't even know what "neodome spam" is, but I gather that those of you who use real newsreaders can positively ID regulars by headers. I would like to get low priced news, as I have no interest in binaries, and don't want to pay for binaries access. --Bryan |

Neodome is free and doesn't require any registration, just like aoei. So it's used by the biggest mental patients, but also by friendly, positive people like me. Otherwise, just get a 1 TB block somewhere for $10 or so. You'll be set for life (or for the life of the provider). |

Five or ten years ago, almost certainly from a parsnip thread here, I bought some parsnips and cooked them in an uninspired way. They tasted like wannabe, quarter-way there in flavor, carrots. Hmm...maybe it was something else. Does anything else have the flavor of a carrot that has been simmered all day? |

What´s not to like? |

Yes, staying trim tends to be a bit hard for many because the food is good. My least favorite is a tie: Liver and onions, collard greens. Have to admit though whenever they served something, there was always an alternate or 2 (main or veggie). Only once do I recall a really oddball set where I ended up snagging peanut butter and jelly and some bread plus a salad. Not bad for 14 years sea. |
