Chicago and NYC put plow blades on the traditional compactor garbage trucks. Doubt that Republic or WM would do that even though we as customers pay for the trucks.

You really are a corporate lickspittle.

Your entire life revolves around consumerism, John.

You really don't care about the environment, you only care about
yourself - and what others think of you when you post about all your
awesome purchases from corporations.

Yes, that description seems fitting.

I'm not flooding the newsgroup, so I'm not the problem. My frogger's
the problem. And Jebus trick may filter all kinds of people, but not
that frogger.

I just changed view to check for responses ;)

You're right in that it's a fairly crude way to filter, as it takes
out others such as yourself... sorry about that.

And yes, the bruce forger will still show, unless you also filter for
'@4ax.com'. Even more crude though, as it will take out most Forte
Agent users... not that many use it here.

Can you change your message ID? I changed mine many years ago in this
news client, but TBH I can't recall how I did it now.

This filtering is far from ideal but it at least certainly removes the
troll while letting Dave's posts through.

Nothing wrong with that. Did you expect him to read Shakespeare with
the child?

Well frog, no I did not expect him to read Shakespeare to the child.
However, I don't think anyone here expected such glee when describing
the engrossing game.

Some people need to watch movies, some need to play computer games,
some need to go bungee jumping and some need to throw a bear in a
basket. RFC needs to be an inclusive newsgroup.

That, "message-id: {@dont-email.me}", will filter many posters that
use news.eternal-september.org (E-S) including "Bruce" and his nym of
the day, but not Bruce's forger (although it is posting from E-S).

While filtering on Message-ID is simple and efficient, it's also a
sledge hammer that can cause collateral damage. Use with caution.

But then again, you won't see this message if you use that filter.

Mary B's biscuits? What kind of coffee... brand, how brewed, milk,
cream, sugar? I generally don't care for scrambled with cheese, an
omelet maybe with cheese but I prefer scrambled with nothing but
s n'p. Sometimes I like scrambled with lox, AKA Goldy Lox. I'd
much prefer Mary's and Joan's Cs.

Yesterday's breakfast was something of an experiment - salmon omelet,
Kept it simple and it worked. Will make it again.

Today's breakfast will be chicken liver, with garlic or onion, a
chili, cilantro and maybe a few other herbs from the garden.

Aww, did I make you angry? At no point does Thomas refer to
accommodation except in the past tense.

But you haven't lived in Brooklyn since Teddy Roosevelt was president.

"Vehical" is acceptable but "through" isn't? One is misspelled and
unacceptable and the other was an incorrect word and not acceptable.
Not excusable but at least my mistake was spelled correctly.

It's East St. Louis, which is on the other side of the Mississsippi
River, in Illinois. There is an area of St. Louis County that is now
essentially abandoned that was as awful as anywhere.
