I had a IIRC 185cc Kawasaki that I had a lot of fun on and later upgraded to a 350 Honda. That one was a lot of fun too, but it really didn't belong on a highway. |

What you said about perceived wait times and lack of procedures is exactly what he was saying about the universal health care system. I hope you don't mind but I used you as an example, Dave. I told him you went in for what they thought would be simple (heh) angioplasty to clear a blockage and you wound up needing more extensive heart surgery. He said, "But how long did he have to wait?" I said, "Wait for what? They didn't send him home and put him on a waiting list." This is a common misconception. Jill |

You'd be better off just using a throw rug or mat where you stand for a time while prepping and cooking. |

No darn way was that a natural shine. WTH? |

Sure, most of it is superior quality. People used to pride themselves in having nice furniture and invested in items that we built to last. We had a beautiful dining room set with a trestle table 6 leather chairs and a sideboard in dark oak. It had belonged to my wife's parents. About 10 years ago we spent more to have it refinished than most people would pay for a dining room set today. Back in the 50's when TVs became popular the electronics were crap but the cabinets they came in were nice furniture. Even radios came in nice cabinets. > back, beautiful oak, etc. basically go for the same rate as modern IKEA > furniture in second hand shops, but the quality and solidness of those > pieces can't be beat. Not to mention hand carved details. No body wants that stuff anymore. It's next to impossible to sell a nice dining room set. It's hard enough to give them away. |

My son was adamant about it because he was at the hospital when a doctor suggested I should look into it because of the link between apnea and heart problems and because my wife said that I snored. I think my son was pushing it partly because he has sleep issues and, as it turned out, he was there for a study the same night I was. > Either way, I'm glad that you don't have sleep apnea. I took some physiological psychology courses at university and one course on sleep. I knew about apnea. My wife's concern was that I snore. Snoring is not apnea. I tended to be a sound sleeper. She had no observations about my breathing stopping and then starting again after a pause. |

They were included in the monthly special at the meat market.
