They might think the same about you as you think about the super rich.
 
At least the super rich do create jobs for many. How many jobs do you
provide for others?

Proportionate to her income or net worth? A lot more. The rich park
their money. People of modest means put it into circulation. Trickle-down
economics has never worked. Trickle-up actually has an effect.

The distorting effect of a university town. Rich students drive up
rent in the city, which drives up rent in the surrounding areas.
 
If only we all moved to Michael's town, we could live like kings.

True. The weather reports always like to dwell on the "worst case"
scenario. It's entertaining news.
 
This storm came here in the afternoon and was gone by midnight. Temps
were in the 50's F so all we got was lots of rain and high wind (also
coastal flooding and large waves).
 
My daughter's area (4-5 hour drive west of me) got 10"
Watching the radar's yesterday, sounds like my Mom, up in the mountains
really got slammed.
 
I also have a good friend living near Hartford, CT. Looks like he's
getting quite a bit too.

I have a question for you TJ as you were a cab driver for many years.
 
Do you prefer people to sit in the back seat? Or would sitting in the
front seat be ok?
 
I know back seat is the norm but I would feel better sitting up front as
long as that's no problem.
 
I might need one soon so I'm wondering.
 
I've only ever done one cab ride. He let me sit in front but he seems
surprised that I requested it.
 
My same question applies to Uber or Lift rides.
Front seat or back...which is "proper?"

When I was a kid, WIL was the big country music station. From 5th
grade on, I lived less than 1/2 mile (as the crow flies) from one of
the best radio stations in the world, KSHE. From 1967-72, that
argument really could be made. By 1975-76, they had become just
another rock music station, but for those 5 years or so, it was
something special.
