There we go. You can create some sock puppets and read and reply to all
his snipes. That will let him think he is getting the attention he craves.

Plus, if your power tool has an auto-shutoff circuit to prevent damage
when it is overburdened, don't get mad and throw it in the trash.

All I need is a home, enough to eat well and pay the basic bills, a tv
(with cable) and a computer with internet. Anything else is fluff to me
and I don't miss it.

Your idea of big snow might be different from mine. We get a chuckle out
of news reports from the southern states when they get an inch of snow
and there is traffic chaos. We need a foot before it gets serious.
Yesterday we had a foot and a half. Highways were a disaster. Side
roads are blocked. They will not start to clean them until all the main
roads are clear. Schools were closed yesterday and remain closed. They
even shut down some stretches of major highways to clean them. The next
problem will be finding places to dump the snow.

My brother worked in a jail for a while. He used to be able to buy meals
there, the same food the inmates got. He said it was very good.

He might have trouble slinging those big bags of donut mix and pails of
filling. He should get some exercise other than sitting around all day
choking his chicken.

I don't have satellite radio in my car but I do have a CD player and a
USB port. I have loaded up 3 thumb drives with my favourite albums and
I have another one that I have podcasts on, mostly comedies. I can
switch to news on the hour and half hour.

As do I, except there are 2 USB ports

I've done the same: one each for piano, chamber music, orchestral and
opera. Great on the long drive to BC through the mountains where there
is often no radio reception.

ES encrypts the IP#. You don't know what it is, but you can see when it
has been used again a different post, by an alleged different poster.

Several years ago, I figured out how to de-crypt them, and then geo-
locate errant posters. But they have changed the algorithm since.

So Casa Boner is easy to impersonate. So is Bruce. I wonder if Dave had
run-ins with CB before Bruce arrived here. That would explain much.

Aw gee. You might have to pay for access instead of getting a free ride
on the troll generators.
No one should have to go to extraordinary efforts to filter out crap
like this. Everyone has told him to stop but he persists and then his
alleged forger follows suit, also from ES. I won't miss the trolls.

I have a top freezer. It's about 9 cubic feet. Plenty for me and also
when my daughter lived here. A larger family would probably require more.

He certainly does provide many jobs and people accept them.
Better low wages than no wages. They all have a right to find a better
paying job. Many are also unskilled employees so why do they deserve
much higher wages?

Perhaps you should stop playing politics with other peoples money.
Just curious...have you ever worked? If so did you do it before you got
a higher education?

Many years ago, I dated a super liberal feminist very similar to you. We
actually got along very well. We often argued our opposite views but

Is there some reason Bezos couldn't hire more workers and pay a
little better so his employees could enjoy an improved quality of life?
Is the notion that Amazon's net profits might drop from $386 billion
to, say, $300 billion so horrible? It needn't even cause a stock market
adjustment if he announced it properly.

Exact same IP, roughly the same time. But from "Dave Smith", not
"GM".

True dat. But that IP address is in the block of addresses assigned
to a large ISP. That ISP does not offer VPN.

Can't prove it, but I think there at least 3 people pretending to be
"Dave Smith".

Don't know about fishy. But it sure as hell smells bad.

Don't know from Casa Bona and don't care to look up the past. What
matters is what is going on now. Given the volume of many similar
posts, a lot of the posts from "Dave Smith" look like spam and amount
to a denial of use of RFC (over half of yesterdays posts came from
"Dave Smith").

I used to enjoy cold bike rides. Sunny with temps around 20F.
Dress well - many layers topped with a windbreaker and a good pair of
gloves and I'd do 10+ miles and enjoy.

On the opposite side, did a long bike ride with temps right about 100F.
I liked that too as long as I had some wind and the bike ride creates
the wind.

Good "American" pancakes are pretty good, but a lot of them are mediocre
at best. I don't buy them in pancake specialty places because they are
usually so disappointing. I had them in one place a few years ago where
they were really bad. The pancakes were bad and the syrup was worse.
There is one local place that has good pancakes, and they seem to be
house made rather than a mix. Personally, I like crepes ans Swedish
pancakes.

Waffles can also be a major disappointment. Home made are pretty good
but if you get them in a restaurant keep your expectations low.
