They still deliver them here, but no white pages in some major metro
areas. Almost everywhere still gets yellow pages. The reason for that
is that they still make money selling ads and listings in the yellow
pages.
 
I've been burned from contractors found on the internet. I've resolved
to not hiring a business unless they have a presence in the yellow
pages. Only real, licensed businesses pay for an ad in the yellow pages.
 
I still use a phone book at least a few times per month. It's sometimes
it's faster to flip the book open rather than wait for the computer to
boot. Some localities don't have white pages available on-line.
However, white pages are only land line numbers.

Many commercials are better than the TV shows. Many of the ad gals

I agree, from my current perspective in life. I very well might change
my mind by the time that I'm ready to retire. I recall Cindy once
mentioning that her husband is partially disabled, and it is very
uncomfortable for him to sit, fly or drive, for more than an hour at a
time. That would make for absolutely miserable travel.
