Dave just said they did exactly that, are you calling him a liar?

I'm having a hard time grasping that. That's paramount to them
asking for the keys to you house and free reign to dig through your
underwear drawer and under your bed.

Exactly. And anything requiring a security clearance, they could
get what they want other ways.

At the least, a company could simply ask that you add their HR
account as a "Friend". That would have the same end result but
would still be overstepping their boundaries. I don't believe any
company would ask for facebook passwords - they would be buried in
the public outcry and PR. They would risk losing their entire
livelihood.

It must be a bogus security clearance, then. Security clearances
don't ask for passwords. That's some sort of micky mouse operation.

So how they get in if he quickly changed his password?

He changed it after.

Many here agree with Bryan, to some extent. Do you not recall Steve's
constant posts about contacting the Missouri board of nursing? Either
way, if John didn't post this garbage first, which Bryan retaliated to,
then none of it would be on-line. John did it to himself, no one else
is to blame.

Wow, that's a long cruise, $2 is 10 gallons at 20 cents/gal... lol

I've put $2 if I'm unsure of how much gas I have left in PA, just enough
to make sure I don't run out before I get back to Ohio where it's
usually 50+ cents per gallon cheaper.

Maybe... I'd surely line up, because I drive old cars for the same
reason(s) that you posted above. Trouble is, lots of the old simple
non-digital stuff was done away with via government mandates, emission
requirements, etc.

Gary, I've got you covered!! How about a '75 Dart with none of the
thrills? But wait... it has power steering ;)

I never paid close attention to shrimp price, but it usually seems high.
I rarely buy it. I'm a bargain shopper. If I'm getting ground
mystery beef, I won't pay a penny over $5/lb ;)

It sounds like your indexes are out of whack. It's not blocknews.

I don't have newservers set up on TB right now, but isn't there a
"lear Group" or "compact" or something?

If not, delete the group, it'll ask to to delete messages, too. Say
yes, then add the group(s) back in and then "sample" the last 3000
headers.

I don't really think it is, either. Just pointing out the Blocknews
support people respond and were helpful in trying to help me figure out
the source of the problem.

Thanks. I actually did that already. Unsubscribe and resubscribed and
only d/l'd limited headers. Things are still off kilter. Sometimes
"upgrades" simply suck. Let us not forget the kerfuffle when they
changed/moved the buttons in a previous update and Reply to All vs.
Reply to NG ooops, Followup... got all confoozled. ;) Upgrades are
mostly useless.

I tried to reply to this yesterday but T-bird was giving me grief (still
is occasionally). I made a cheese quesadilla for dinner last night.

The only place I ever see that crap is in the break room at work.
Those commercials are aimed at the type of people that the shows
they are on were made for. If you watch trashy TV, expect trashy
commercials. Watching crappy TV when you are retired is like
killing time while waiting to die.

You should obtain today's newspaper and peruse the Help Wanted ads...
make a list of who to call tomorrow... early bird gets the worm.
I were you I'd drive to the nearest Leaf dealer and beg for a job in
sales. Even if you don't like selling salesmen get to do a lot of
networking. You may even meet a hospital admin who may put you to
work in pediatrics... will probably pay much better than a basket bear
coach. You should hook up with the big Pharmas, Kootchie seems to
know a lot about drugs. Kootchie can BS his way into a corner office,
Kootchie can't be dumber than Biden. At this point you've nothing to
lose.
