That's because every single one of his posts are nonsensical *hubris*.

There are lots of things I could post about but don't. An example: The
entire back wall in the living room is glass; two doors to the patio and
tall glass panels on either side. I washed the outside of those windows
and patio doors a couple of days ago to get rid of the spring pollen crud.

Should I have posted "I WASHED the WINDOWS!!! I used a BUCKET and a
SQUEEGIE/SPONGE!!!" No. Because nobody cares.

Show of hands who cares he used an electric lawnmower? Hey, I used hand
powered hedge clippers to trim the bushes along the front walkway. Yes,
I own an electric hedge trimmer. I went even more *green* than he did!
Did I crow about it? No. No one would care.

Just like no one really cares he's imagining a relationship with this
teller at the bank. April, this woman he thinks is interested, is the
same woman Mr. "All about the Rainbow" Kuthe posted had "some Jewish
thing" to do on a Friday night. Yeah, she must be just dying to go out
with him.

Know who could clear this up? April. Anyone know the name of the bank
where he makes his whopping $200 cash deposits?

In past years when I visit friends in the south during a hot summer I have
had to hear them moaning about their hose pipe bans. I think it's no bad
thing to have the ban because hose pipes and sprinkler use a lot of precious
drinking water. I think they can't wash cars either.

I wish other people were as good as that at conserving water. Sadly almost
everyone I know waters their lawn with mains water. As it happens I don't
have a lawn to water and I don't bother watering garden plants either. They
manage well enough.

I am not talking about meadow but cultivated grass lawns. Here we see
sprinklers and hosepipes for watering lawns and they consume vast amounts
of drinking water over a growing season.

It's been so many years I don't remember if the house even had a what
I'd call a coat closet. I didn't ask where she hung her clothes.

I know who you were speaking to. I was asking if you think it's fine
for Bruce to refer to me as McBiddy when you (and I) dislike hearing
Joan refer to you as OhFeelMe.

Yep. The non-Hawaiian chicken. ;) I used Panko.

The coating is Panko breadcrumbs seasoned with pepper and a little salt,
garlic powder, grated parmesan cheese and a some dried crushed parsley.
Brush the chicken parts with melted butter, then coat, let set for a few
minutes and bake. I meant to call you, really! :) The Leftovers will
freeze well. To retain the crispness when reheating, I recommend a low
and slow oven rather than the microwave.

LOL The only side dish I had with a couple of those meaty little
drummies was a cup of Fordhook lima beans heated in the microwave.

What, no criticism about a crappy photo? LOL I think you'd like the
coating; it's quite tasty. The leftovers will freeze well but need to
be reheated in a low temp oven, not the microwave, to retain the crispness.

>I won't ever have one of those smart phones that has internet and everything on it; those are every bit as addictive as crack and heroin. I have what I refer to as a dumb phone, one of those cheap flip phones that I buy a 30 dollar card for that pays for two months of service. In an average month I might make 2-3 calls, and I receive 2-3 calls, usually from doctors or from CVS telling me to pick up my prescriptions. We still have a land line, and the only reason we have that is because of the bundling of cable and internet that it is somehow cheaper to also get phone than not to get it, and the only calls we get is from telemarketers, which we ignore, and I guess it is handy to have for an emergency.

>Everybody I know who has one of those smart phones, they cannot go more than two minutes without picking them up. This was most annoying when I was in the business sector, and I would walk past people's cubes, and half of them would be on their phones. Checking Facebook or Twitter, texting somebody, reading a text, looking at pictures, sending emails; at a guess, I would estimate people with smart phones spend about at least one hour of their work day on their cell phones.

Two things come to mind:
1. You are obviously a very weak-willed person
2. You should pick a better class of friends

I'll go along with you on the cheese. I've always put a bit of celery
and onion in my tuna casserole.
I grew up in Wisconsin, the east side, and lived a while in LaCrosse.
I lived a while in Minneapolis and went to many church functions and
never heard of a casserole referred to as a hotdish. I never heard of
hotdish until Barb brought it up here.
It would be interesting to find out the origins of the term. Was it
localized or part of a certain ethnic group or what.

Casseroles have many homes, then.

I've never developed much of a taste for casseroles. When I was a picky
kid, I wouldn't eat foods that were "all mixed up"; nowadays casseroles
are generally too fatty and carby for me. And I still prefer my food in
discrete servings, although I'm not bratty about it anymore.

I'm impressed with the variety of casseroles that Wikipedia lists on its
casserole page:

I'm good with any color but green. If I eat green raw, I belch it for
three days. Cooked green only a day and a half.

bell peppers can be the reason I go to the supermarket. I am not
comfortable unless I have a couple colors of peppers and some raw
mushrooms in the fridge.
