I use my phone to optimize my drives by finding out road/traffic conditions and alternate routes. The cell phone has changed traffic patterns. My favorite secret shortcuts are no longer secrets.

I use the camera to document receipts and written notes. Scanning phone screens with barcode readers for special deals at shops/restaurants are a thing these days. It's a hot and wonderful sales tool. The kids love that kind of shit...

No bees or wasps are outright agressive. They will only attack
when they feel threatened. Humans that is. I have read that
wasps will attack honey bees. True? Don't know.

In my painting days. I would never kill any just to paint a
stupid house. Wasp nests were common up under the eves of houses.
Whenever one was encountered either someone went up the ladder
and threw a cup of paint thinners on the nest (killing them all
immediately) or they called me to do the painting in that spot.

I don't kill any creature unneccesarily, certainly not kill a
colony just to paint a house. We had one customer once that felt
the same way as I did. So I got the job to paint around the nest.
It was a wasp nest right in the corner. I put my ladder up right
underneath the corner. As I came up the ladder, about 50 wasps
were all looking down and watching me. I said "hi" to them then
slowly started painting.

First to the right and they all turned to the right and watched
me move slowly. Once I finished that side, I did the left side of
the nest. They all turned that way too and watched my hand. lol
it was funny. All the time I was talking to them. Yeah, I'm
weird.

After doing both sides, I had the actual corner left where the
nest was attached. I did it very slowly on each side and even
dabbed paint underneath the nest but not touching it. Again, they
all turned and watched my hand.

That was interesting and funny to me as they all 'group turned'
to watch the hand. My coworkers thought I was nuts but I knew
that they won't attack unless provoked.

Note: no humans or wasps were harmed in this story. ;)

My phone's Android, I turn it over to enable the shush feature so

Do you see many, or even one 'solitary' bee?

OK , yeah I've seen those . They are aimed more at certain wasps and
definitely at carpenter bees - those are solitary and we do have them
here .

Your pancakes are about the same thickness as pancakes around here.
Crepes re a different animal. Being made without any leavening and
having thinner batter that is applied more sparingly, they are are much
thinner.

My understanding is that it's the kind of thing that the Europeans are into - thinly disguised insults/pancakes.

There's a sushi place that will blast their sushi with a propane torch. This gives the piece a distinct propane gas taste. Oddly enough, I like the taste of propane gas. :)

Food snobs/sissies will prefer butane gas, real men use propane. I suppose one could use MAPP gas or acetylene but that might be overkill. OTOH, overkill is good too. :)

It's not nearly so awful as some here claim. The canned mushroom
soup is an ingredient for me but not an actual soup. I can make
better mushroom soup myself.
The canned stuff makes a quick gravy in a pinch, good to simmer
seared pork chops in, and a decent addition to most kinds of
casserole. I even use it in cottage pie. It does have it's uses,
just not for an add milk and make soup.

Think of it as using a spice blend rather mix many spices. Like
curry powder.

I'll do my best <g>

Anyway, you asked about corned beef hash. I tried that once and
never again. I don't even like corned beef. Best way to ruin good
beef, imo.

Recently I made Spam hash. Probably what you were thinking of. I
occasionally make ham hash (from leftover ham), or Spam hash, or
even just plain hash (no meat)

Yes, probably!

It's just diced potatoes, chopped onions and meat or not. Only
flavorings are S&P. You could also toss in some eggs with that
like Popeye does. It's all good.

Thanks very much for that! D loves spam so I am now looking around
for recipes that use it:))
