UK scammers like Ophelia don't want to pay their water bills but still expect
water to be available.

Did you miss the discussion where US customers had their water cut off for
not paying their bill? UK customers still get water even if they don't pay
their water bill. Ophelia approves of UK customers who don't pay for their
water.

I think it's irresponsible to cut off people's water supply,
especially during this corona crisis. That doesn't mean I approve of
people not paying for their water.

Most of the time he's very reasonable, but sometimes he
short-circuits.

How do you square that circle? If someone gets water they should pay for
it. If the government thinks it's some sort of human right to get water
then the government could pay their bill for them. Either way, someone
has to pay for water.

Ophelia rejoices in the UK system where water is always supplied
irrespective of any mounting debts but that creates a moral hazard and
saves up trouble for the future.

Free range chickens tend to be lean and tough just like
wild game birds.

Maybe kinder to kill the factory ones that are confined
and mistreated? It's mercy killings just like we kindly
do for our miserable pets.

Bonus: much tastier too

Just my thoughts: Probably good enough with Spam but
would be better with bacon or sausage. Sounds like one
of those breakfast casseroles that I've had before but
never made myself. They *are* good!

>One of these days, the greenies will realize that nuclear power is also green power. The problem is that the fossil fuel people will have to realize that nuclear power is in their best interest too. Most people are afraid of the idea of a nuke plant churning out electricity in their backyard. If they looked at the numbers they might see that it's a heck of a safe way to generate megawatts. It is our best interest that this be implemented sooner than later.

Nuke is like retards playing with fire.

Nuclear waste is a problem, but you should be more worried about your town being utterly destroyed by a cat 5 hurricane or the midwest being washed away by floods of a mind boggling nature. Nuclear waste? That's nothing. Besides, you can make useful things with spent fuel. Things like high mass kinetic projectiles and the like.

The biggest drawback for nuke power is its high cost per megawatt. OTOH, the reality is that the cost of nukes as an interim power source is nothing compared to the effects of raising the earth's temperature a couple of degrees.

I'm trying to imagine the size of a one dollar gold coin if
minted today.

And whadda you know, they're being considered by the US Mint:

Ovo Lacto Vegetarian. Eggs and dairy OK, but not meat.

We have nothing to fear from the Chinese bees. They don't sting - normally speaking. Auntie lives in some kind of hobbit house. Such a strange land...
