Institutionalized civil disobedience. The city government feels that the
implementation of federal immigration laws (and possibly the laws themselves)
are unjust. Similar to the Underground Railroad, except the "train" goes
nowhere.

It's a bit weird of him to conclude that you don't want to pay your
water bill. He's short-circuiting.

LOL we owe NOTHING to anybody I can promise you:)))))) He is desperate
to make me look bad:))

All our monthly bills are paid directly from the bank. Not that it is
anyone else's business, but what I am saying is true.

Perhaps he doesn't pay his bills and thinks we are all like him!

He can lie as much as he like about me, but it doesn't make it true:)))

Just to clarify ... we pay ALL our bills regularly and we are NEVER in
debt and we owe NOTHING to anyone.!!!!

You are much mistaken about Ed. If you want to see people in a bubble,

That is what is happening. They come here under various pretenses and,
once they are landed and make their refugee claim it gets heard. If it
is rejected they are expected to leave. Many times they do not. Many
times they just disappear.

I can give you an example. We had a problem with Chinese people
smugglers about 20 years ago. There were a number of rotten old ships
that dropped off 600 people. Half of them ended up being deported. Three
dozen were allowed to stay. The rest disappeared, apparently going
underground and eventually to New York and San Francisco.

Oh. I see. This land that people are now saying the white people stole
from the natives?

I don't what's happening in your land nor will I comment on it. That's just common curtesy.

The city politicians have to be careful of what they say because
immigrants and refugees flock to big cities and speaking out against
illegal undocumented workers can cause no end of problems. Up here the
refugee claimants, and failed claimants, head to the cities and make
big demands on municipal services, so the cities look to the federal
government for funding. They figure that the feds are letting the people
into the country, they people need the services, so the feds should pay.

I am not particularly in favour of that. I figure that if they want the
prestige they think they deserve for setting themselves up as
sanctuaries, they can pay for it themselves.

I don't think anybody really believes you don't pay your bills. Not
even Pamelus.

Kraft Cheese, Parmesan, Grated:
"Parmesan Cheese (Pasteurized Part-Skim Milk, Salt, Less Than 2% of
Enzymes, Cheese Culture, Cellulose Powder to Prevent Caking, Potassium
Sorbate to Protect Flavor). Aged 6 Months."

Crappy, but could have been worse.

Are you telling people what size bowl to use now? Is there anything

It's possible Gary buys the generic knockoff, but this is the "real" thing:

Gary might buy the knockoff because this one doesn't have the
"artificial flavor" that he loves.

You are so full of shit it's oozing out your ears... you likely don't
eat bacon because you can't afford to... the closest you ever get to
bacon is an occasional shake of Fako Bacos. I haven't bought bacon in
more than forty years but I often see the big name brands advertized
at like $4 lb... bacon is pretty cheap but more than you can afford.
I'd much rather buy smoked ham hocks from the smoke house in town.

What's even better than bacon is smoked pork belly. It's thick slices of uncured, smoked, pork belly that's fried up but still tender. What's simply sublime is smoked pork belly with aged kim chee and rice. Hoo boy! OTOH, my guess is that when these deadly days have passed, I won't be able to get kim chee aged way beyond reason again. That's life for you.

$4/pound bacon isn't fit to feed to a dog.

I see I was a little low on the price, or else it's cheaper to buy at
my grocery store:

We have wasps here that attack immediately when you get close to the
nest. And it's painful. Plus, they build their nests hanging off the
gutters or the barbed wire of the fence, so you're bound to walk past
sooner or later.
