The idea of sweet/savory foods is one that old fuddy-duddies eschew but it's
a totally solid concept.

I don't know. What I do know is that I just make what D. likes:)) It's
good enough for me:))

WTF would you let a house cat out... too much cheapo box wine...
You should be ashamed to even post such... there is no excuse for such
abject ignorance. Disgusting! Go crawl into a hole and STFU for at
least 20 years. I feel sick for Buffy, not for you.

The post is a forgery, Joan, it was recently posted on "CatBanter" and Jill mentioned it here recently. I am in *no* way involved in this particular kerfuffle...I dislike Jill - or at least her online persona - enough to annoy her ocassionally (the silly "Aunt Jemima Cookie Jar" thread), but I would not post something re: the loss of a pet unless I *really* loathed them, and Jill does not fall into that category. Anyways, the forged post is pretty lame, Jill has stated repeatedly over many years here that her cats absolutely *never* go outside...she is a very responsible pet owner, all here know that. And the forged post's style is an immediate tip - off, that is not the kind of syntax Jill would use...

Well, they didn't. And the plot thickens.

Whoever put the box in, did not put the correct box. There is only one
parcel locker and far too many mailboxes.

One neighbor heard from another neighbor that we each owe $200 but she will
not pay.

I contacted another neighbor to tell him what she said. He said he tracked
down the mailman and was told that a USPS guy named Dave installed it and we
have to call him. He was given a 206 area code number. We are 425 here.

Talk about muddy waters! Dang. Sooo complicated. And I can't do a thing till
Mon. now.

I hope you are not allowing them to put anything else in it??

By putting in a mailbox, and keeping all the keys? No one can get their mail
now and we have no idea who this person is. But the guy next door said a
USPS person named Dave installed it. Don't know who he is either!

It's a federal crime to mess with the US mail.
Something has gone very wrong in Bothell.

We had our festive potsticker dumplings for lunch. I must have done it
right: the house smells like a Chinese takeout box.

Sheldon reminds me that I should put bacon on my shopping list. At the
rate the weather is going, we should have local tomatoes soon.

I like Vidalias and yes, a big bag, 5 pounds or more will cook down to just
a small bowl. Makes you think someone sneaked in your kitchen and stole
half of what you're cooking.

I don't know if you're a turnip green fan or not, but they have the same
disappearing ability when cooked as onions do.

Every year, about 6 blocks from me in mid-August, I think, they have the
"Tomato Arts Fest." I'm not sure of the number, s.e.v.e.r.a.l. hundred
for sure but I would not be a bit surprised if it's not canceled this year.
All other summer activities have been so I don't know why this one would
survive the chopping block.

Yoose try to cover it up by constantly talking bout wimmen's "bosoms".

What person?
Who would have the stomach to eat at the same table with Popeye?

No plans, really. I'll be cooking a nice juicy hamburger topped with
swiss cheese and bacon served on a lightly toasted whole wheat bun.
It's super hot down here so I'll cook it in a small cast-iron skillet on
the stove. Not worth firing up the charcoal grill for just a burger.
I'll have a couple of scoops of Publix (store brand) espresso chip
frozen yogurt for dessert. That stuff is really tasty! :)

Enjoy your day!

You could also say they're dishes that the masses like. And we all
know what bad taste the masses have. Just turn on the radio. In RFC,
you're dealing with the elite.
