It means peck of the rooster, not beak.

That's a strong endorsement, coming from you.

As I have said reportedly... I do not shop in Bothell. Yes, I have a new
man. That's a choice I made. I will also be going to Winco with Angela but
not sure when. Cases of Covid are down in this area. I am taking my life
back. Lockdown is supposed to end on Jan 4th. That doesn't mean it won't be
extended. I will still continue to get grocery deliveries. It's far easier
for me to do that.

I never said I was self isolating. I said we were supposed to shelter in
place and we were not supposed to have visitors. I got sick of living like
that so I chose to do otherwise. My guy has been here every day but today
but the day is still young. So... He might as well be living here. I did see
Angela. I will see her again. most of the people I know here are violating
the mandate. Cases of Covid are down here. They've been feeding us false
numbers to scare us.

In what way have I been a victim? Buying a few spices and seasonings is no
big deal. Even if I never make food for him, I'm sure Justin will eat them.
He's not picky.

I don't know about in New York, but in Missouri you can sell a house "as is"
not matter what is wrongs with it. Thing is, you can't get a conventional
mortgage on an as is. We bought the house we live in now as is, and the
lender required a 20% down payment.

We're buying a house for my son. It's only $85K. We have to be the
borrowers, and can't even have my son on the mortgage at all because he
doesn't have 2 years of steady income. He'll be making the payments. It
won't cost us anything, but we'll be solely responsible for the loan. No
worries. That kid will be outearning me pretty soon. He figures he'll be
living there for 2 or 3 years, and by then he'll have sufficient demonstrable
income to buy a house that he really wants, and can keep that one as a
rental property. It's not in one of those tiny municipalities (like Bel Nor),
but in University City, about 12 minutes from here in light traffic.

What's a trip is that when he emailed some of his friends about the house,
it turns out that one of his friends lived in that very house when he was a
small child.

We're not spending a penny of our own money on the house, but merely
guaranteeing the loan. The one thing that the house doesn't have is a
washer/dryer, and for a move-in present (he doesn't know this yet), we
are going to buy him a nice Speed Queen washer, and a cheap ass dryer.

He mentioned that he'll be having us over for dinner often, and I'm sure
he'll be coming over here for dinner often as well. This is a nice transition
to him moving out. He's fiercely independent. A lot of kids go though a
stage where they want little to do with parents for several years, whether
that's going away to college or just moving out. He established his
autonomy earlier, doing his own laundry, buying his own clothes, etc.
while he was still in high school, and it's already like he's a fully adult
child in many ways.

Truth be told, my only disappointment with him is his politics, which is
decidedly libertarian compared to his parents. That's not going to go
away, maybe not ever, but he's his own person, and I never wanted a
clone of myself.

Yes, not worth it then. I don't use it often enough to be worth it
either but I might do it once out of curiosity.

Kenwood is a sound equipment company (you mean Kenmoore) and
"Manstays" is *Mainstays*, which is a Target brand (not Walmart).

NO! A Kenwood is a revered British stand mixer that has been around for
many decades!!! It has nothing to do with the audio company.

Graham is correct here, Kenwood in 1947 started out with a toaster, and in 1950 intro'd their iconic "Chef" stand mixer...

https://www.kenwoodworld.com/uk/about-kenwood/why-kenwood

"1947
Kenwood A100 - When Kenneth Wood first founded our company, he cleverly redesigned the electric toaster to allow the user to toast both sides without touching the bread. Three years later in 1950, he completely revolutionized post-war kitchens with the launch of the Kenwood Chef.

1950 - The Kenwood Chef launches at the Ideal Homes Exhibition the Chef stole the hearts of housewives for its life-changing, labour-saving abilities. Harrods sold out in just a week..."

When Kenwood audio products were marketed in the UK, they were re - branded under the "Trio" label so as not to copyright infringe upon the UK Kenwood...

I owned a Kenwood mixer for years. In fact, my current stand mixer is
based on the Kenwood model and all my old Kenwood attachments- juicer,
grain mill, sausage thingee- all work with it. In fact, that is why I
bought the current one.

The Brit brand was sold off some years ago to DeLonghi in the US.
Death knell, as far as I was concerned. I have not followed to see
what's happened with the brand for many, many years.

I'll second that, my Kenwood is 51 years old and still going strong.
True, it is more noisy now than when it was new, but I don't think I
will ever need to replace it. Perhaps I should have my grandson take
it apart and oil it or something, or maybe it's best to leave it
alone.

Not enough. Your syntax is still OK, except for the old people's

They do indeed get the lowest denominator when it's not name brand.
I've literally had produce bought there, mold that *afternoon* and
won't shop there except for other things like wrapping paper and such.

Yes, Sheldon's rants are getting prolific. Wife is out of town,
suspect she controls his drinking and with her gone for a few days,
he's drinking a lot more.

Which Hungry Man did you have for dinner?

I had an Florentine/Tuscan creamy chicken dish (100% scratch).

Ingredients

1½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts thinly sliced
3 Tablespoons olive oil
1.5 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup chicken broth
3 minced garlic cloves
2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
3/4 cup Romano cheese
1 cup spinach chopped
1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes, chopped
