You must live much closer to the centre of town than my niece does - she
didn't lose her internet connection, although it was a little blippy
when we were 'Zooming' on Xmas day.
I'm glad you're okay.

Don't think it could be worse :) Are you still biking?

I never thought that any European countries were communist after about 1990.
I used to think that most European countries were more socialist than we
were. I don´t think that anymore.

I really think you've said otherwise here.

More social, for sure.

Do you really think that Joe Biden's a socialist? Or Kamala Harris? Or
even Bernie Sanders?

Whole Paycheck sells some domestic mozz made from buffalo milk. I'm
of two minds on trying it. I'll probably still find it woefully undersalted.

It's not just about business.

Europe in general and Italy in particular are very fussy about their
products. If it's not made the traditional way from the traditional
ingredients, it's generally not permitted to carry the traditional name.
Even if it tastes really good.

Understandable. Buffaloes take up more space than ferrets.

I don't need constant company but aside from Justin, I haven't much of
anyone during the pandemic. Saw one friend one time, just to take her a
book. Saw my mom twice, for about two minutes each time. My brother once,
his wife twice. And the various BFs a few times. Saw Angela more than
anyone, but didn't even see her once a week. You might not be a social
person. I am. I like seeing people. I can't stand watchint TV or movies.
There is nothing more mind numbing. I do read. I read very fast so buying
books is expensive!

I don't know what you mean about someone else approving ingredients. I did
show him some of what I bought. Peri Peri and Piri Piri. He said those were
the wrong things and the correct term in Swahili is Pili Pili. A search
turned up a musical group. A couple of foods did show up as Peri Pweri.
Dunno.

I don't really like cut flowers. I certainly wasn't looking for those.
Meeting in a parking lot was really our only choice. Worked for me. Don't
care if you don't like it or found it sad. We had a lot of laughs. Nothing
sad about that.

He dies love chicken. I will look for something with a similar flavor
profile that can be done indoors. I don't BBQ.

A few years ago, around this time of year, a worthless piece of shit ceased to exist.
It would be lovely if Julie followed Andy. Imagine her dying alone in an ICU. Maybe
one of the misfits she consorts with will kill her. Maybe the turdlet will kill her.
Maybe the ex-husband will kill her. With her myriad health problems, she's a good
candidate for death if she gets the virus.

He doesn't need to. COVID has spread most in population centers
of any political stripe, followed by less-populous areas. Even the
MSM will tell you that.

Bruce is wrong, of course.

The effects of spread in more politically conservative areas
might be more severe, given they're already underserved in
health care. For example, liberal Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti has
two large, well-equipped hospitals. The Upper Peninsula,
not so much.

Not really. We had a 3.5 hour talk. Do you think I'm going to post all of
that here? Don't worry. I won't be here much longer. Who will you pick on
then?

Bullshit. Even condemned properties are sold every day. They must
be fixed before someone can move in.

Thousands of substandard houses are sold and renovated every
year. I give you: The City of Detroit.

Rubbish, Sheldon. I've never had the slightest difficulty insuring
property occupied by tenants. It's called landlord insurance.

Really? Buy-to-let mortgages are common in UK. Specially for
Landlords who buy properties to let.

In Scotland (and UK) we have swedes (yellow) and turnips (mostly
white) , very different flavours. As Sheila says,
neeps= swede= rutabaga. The traditional accompaniment to haggis is
mashed swede and mashed potato. As served at Burns Suppers.
Burns Supper is a big thing in Scotland, annual celebration of the
Scots poet Robert Burns at which his Address to the Haggis is invariably
recited.

I don't think any American recipe is so beloved that anyone wrote a
poem to it, but feel free to try:-)

I've found that many of the recipes in *The Jeffrey Dahmer Cookbook* are
rather good when you sub in pork for the long pig.
