He had been briefly married before (very unhappily) and separated; she had never had anybody until they met and married around age 50. So no children for either of them, but he was a famous and inspirational school teacher in UK and she taught at his school. She told me once "We never had any babies, but we've had hundreds of children". They absolutely adored each other for about 30 years until he died. Janet UK |

I had a collie dog when I was young. He had dry food available all day but each evening, I fed him a can of Kennel Ration. He loved that stuff and would wolf it down. Every evening for years I would open a can. That stuff smelled really good. It smelled *very* good. One day, I finally tried a taste of it. (and the dog growled at me for eating his beloved dinner. lol) I couldn't believe that something that smelled so good could taste so bad. Not for me. |
