Local store had an end of aisle case full of it. Featured sale item
before Christmas.

Good Lord Bruce, that would be impossible. Have you learned nothing under my
tutelage?

i can check out e-books from the library directly but they
also have a stand-alone site for the consortium that i can
log into using the library card number and name of the library.

the library interface is a pain in the butt as it times out
searches pretty quickly and if i get called away in the middle
of something then i have to come back and start it all over
again.

Lol, can I get a second chance?

The US has 61,000 cases per million people. Australia has 1100 cases
per million people. In other words: Australia has 0.18% of the number
of cases that the US has. If that changes, people's attitude will
change too.

I think that a lot of people were disappointed that locking down and
reducing contact did not eliminate the virus completely, but I don't
think that any of the authorities suggested that it would. I thought
that they had explained that it would keep the spread down to a level
that our health care system could handle. From what I have been hearing
lately, there are places where the system has been overwhelmed.

there's a lot of loony people who take isolated incidents and

So you DO need an e-reader. Amazing the thought process that can occur
during one post!

you don't need a special e-reader if you already have a
desktop computer with an internet browser. i can read
e-books fine that ways and bump up the font size all i
want.

what i do not like about reading books on a desktop though
is that you are stuck for that position for reading and while
i can shift about it still ends up being uncomfortable. when
i'm reading a regular book i move around from side to side or
lay flat on my back.

Trump's one of the idiots. Especially if you have a high percentage of
idiots in your population (73 million), you want a president who sets
the right example, instead of adding to the stupidity.

It's also a very short book so don't expect it to be anything like the
movie.

You know what's funny in a sad sort of way? This post was made about food.
Wasn't me who veered. Many others took this to nasty land.

Soon it will all be a moot point as I highly doubt I'll put a news server on
my new computer. And the day I take this one offline will be soon.

Welcome back. I know what a pain in the butt it can be too set up a new
computer, especially when you have to find old passwords. I replaced
my laptop last month and it took a few days to get things up and running
properly. I am glad that I didn't wait until an old one died.
