Right. Personally I don't think the masks do a damned bit of good. One of my
Drs. said he found that people were wearing worn out ones with holes or even
poking holes in them so they could breathe better. I do wear them though.
Not going to risk being punched or shot at.

It was underwhelmed because it was working. We flattened the curve in
the late spring and summer. Not it is soaring.

Reading glasses? I have good eyesight, but I need reading glasses
these days. It's ok. They make me look intelligent.

For a physical library book, just read the summary on the inside of the
jacket.

Well, I'm glad I don't have to use the Canadian library system and
this Kobo circus. I'm a free agent when it comes to ebooks!

They're testing a lot in Sydney and Melbourne. They don't find very
many cases, but one case could become many cases, of course.

Australia can be a bit of a nanny state. On the other hand, hospitals
in the Netherlands would always report how many people lost fingers,
hands and eyes on New Year's Eve. I'm not sure what's better.

Just fill your water bottle with chlorinated tap water the night before
and leave the cap off. It evaporates out overnight. Or you could boil
tap water to get rid of the chlorine very quickly. Then cap it and cool it.

strange to me, the shortbread cookies here are firm enough they
won't bend, but they don't really stick much either that you'd
need a spatula to remove them.

We're talking ricotta. My friend said you need some kind of starter to make
Mozzarella.

I like it in Caprese salad. What I don't like is Burratta. Far too bland and
creamy.

A property must meet building codes to be sold. To be perfectly
honest I don't believe that you own the house you live in... it's very
obvious that you rent that hovel.
