It's clear that not the US, but Europe is the leader of the free world. Europeans already knew that, but now Americans realise it too :) |

Bryan Simmons <bryangsimmons@gmail.com>: Jan 08 02:50PM -0800 All the kneading I've done making pizza crust and bread, and my wife just puts the stuff in the upright mixer, and it turns out just as good or better.. I still roll it out with the French rolling pin, so it's still hands on. Yeah, some folks can throw pizza crusts up into the air, but I have to use a rolling pin. It's always a challenge to get the pizza crusts the right size for the pan, and as round as possible. --Bryan |

I've been doing that but I'm tired of working my hands these days. I've done pizza dough with a stand mixer and dough hook but the mix hates pizza dough. I can just dump the ingredients in the bread machine and let it do all the work. These days, I want to do the least amount of work possible. I must be depressed. |

When we go to Chicago, we drive to the SW suburbs, then use public transportation. We typically stay out near Willowbrook, drive into the 54th/Cermak Pink line, where we can find free parking after rush hour, and take the train back to our car after evening rush hour. It's mostly about visiting the Art Institute. The CTA trains are featured in my novel, and one chapter is called, *A Pink Line to Burritos*. Maybe you could read my book. ************** By the time they'd finished and showered, it was nearly eleven o'clock, and Ian had announced that he was finally going to get his burrito. They checked out, and slowly ambled to the El station. When Winter heard that they were taking the Pink train, she said, "Of course." "What?" asked Ian. "It's the one that goes there." "It would be. You know, I managed to get us a room for the way home." "Right now, I'm thinking about burritos." Winter gave his arm a slight shove, "You know what, Ian? I actually believe you." ************** --Bryan |
