I think that a lot of people were disappointed that locking down and reducing contact did not eliminate the virus completely, but I don't think that any of the authorities suggested that it would. I thought that they had explained that it would keep the spread down to a level that our health care system could handle. From what I have been hearing lately, there are places where the system has been overwhelmed. |

In other words: Australia has 0.18% of the number of cases that the US has. If that changes, people's attitude will change too. |

I'm still strugging with pulling specific data from a cloned hard drive. The aps on my old computer were old enough (although continually updated) that the new aps I have downloaded don't really work well together. My financial software is giving me fits. So today I am just going to start new (1/1/2021) on my new computer. I've finally taken the time to install so I can read rec.food.cooking. Like everything else I needed my password for the entities that allow me to access newsgroups. Then I had to get a special code from the source to allow me to proceed with a download. Anyway, I am back with you on my old computer. I don't know about what will happen with my new computer. I want to start clean there so don't want to sync. Janet US ==== It's good to see you back:)) Happy New Year!! |

I cooked a pork shoulder last night on the rotisserie. I made some mushroom gravy and made a plate for my wife to take to work. For her, I cooked the pork in the gravy a little. https://photos.app.goo.gl/R4bCGdcs4rgVZRTb7 https://photos.app.goo.gl/7GMz5UY5cAyVCGkd9 |
