Somewhere halfway that paragraph you stopped making sense.

There's not much need for cookbooks anymore, basically.

Ken is still rather new to cooking so a cookbook, or an internet recipe, or
internet cooking site would probably be most useful to him. I will say the
cookbook that came with my Ninja has been quite helpful. Unless you have
always been a pressure cooker user you'd never know that frozen rock hard
chicken wings will be completely done under 6 minutes of pressure. Naked
but done.

If you like to cook naked: to each their own.

But I meant that with the internet, cookbooks aren't so important
anymore.

I see. You're Sheldon's "backwards world" twin.

Vegans can eat in restaurants. They just have to find ones that take
veganism seriously. Here are a few in the town where I live:

Oh yes I have done that also.... I mean making tofu as I said.... I
would not EVER EVER buy that chemically laced crapfu that they sell in
stores...

Tell me do you spice or bread your tofu before air frying? If so
please give details....

I really find it no problem as I thought it might be annoying when not in use,
but I pay it no attention. The inner pot is the only part that is non-stick
and it should be treated just like a Teflon pan. Again, no problem.

We like to use Hawaiian salt mixed with red clay to season steaks. It's a salt that's tossed about in Hawaiian ceremonies to ward off evil spirits. Your salt might be kosher but our salt is the real deal holy salt. :)

Not the ninja, from what I saw it only air frys between the temps of
300 and 400 you can not dehydrate at those temps

FWIW... I just checked the Dyson site and they are out of stock.

I'm not whining! I am totally satisfied from the day I had my first
Dyson - after using my aunts 18 year old Dyson in the UK and finding
it better than any I had here. I was interested awhile back in what
Wayne had to say about his roomba but on balance, looking around, I
don't think my place is that suitable for a robot system.

Nobody give a shit about some guy making candy in his kitchen. In the scheme of things, that's so incredibly unimportant. OTOH, thank you for paying your fair share. My guess is that the POTUS thinks yoose guys are big schmucks.

You're wealthy and you can "almost" pay off your Discover Card balance?

The banking system is making a ton off of you.

I got lost in the Bay Area too. I had just bought a Mazda RX2 and was trying to find my way back to my sister-in-law's place. Beats me how that was supposed to happen since I had no address and no telephone number. Later on, I would have no gas since the car was quite a thirsty beast. Of course I had no money either. Ha ha. I got back after some adventure. I was able to get some gas money because I had a $24 refund check from the Hawaiian Electric Company and found a nice bank manager willing to cash an out of state check from a dubious Asian guy.

We did go on the Golden Gate Bridge a few times. It was a little scary sometimes because of the fog and Hawaiians don't know a thing about driving in fog. Mostly though, I'd rather view that magnificent bridge from a distance.

I have driven across the Big Island and certainly encountered
low-lying clouds that are just like fog. Not that unusual up there.

Lots of fog/low-lying clouds on the road to Mauna Kea, too.

You need to be more adventurous.
