There is no need to eat with chopsticks at home or > in a Chinese restaurant unless you want to show off your 'skills.' It's a bit more than that. Once really *used to them* you start to find they are not only a bit fun, but work better for some foods. Cooking utensils also change as it's FAR easier to flip some things with 'cooking chopsticks' such as lumpia, rounmd sausage or spring roll. There is no need for someone not used to them to learn how to use them, but there is also no reason why someone who grew up with using them to not use them at home. |

Me too. I mix and match with the shape of the item. Cuisine type doesn't matter. Ease of use does. |

No. They are Dutch Dutch, the type who immigrate and settle in rural communities where they farm and build churches and schools. The Dutch have adopted some Indonesian dishes because of their former colonial involvement in Indonesia. My wife's second cousin/close friend spent part of his childhood in Indonesia. The first time we had dinner at his place he served Indonesian dishes. Some of the restaurants in the towns with lots of Dutch people serve rice table. |

It definitely promotes trolls who are interested in blind dates, etc. Jill |

"Studies of Obamacare studies reveal a growing divide in health care coverage and access more concretely tied to income level, documentation status, and state of residence." https://iaphs.org/u-s-health-policy-population-health-now-headed/ If you do read it - if anyone truly is interested in this topic, they will educate themselves about population health and the impact the ACA has had - you'll see the divide is mostly due to states that opted out of Medicaid expansion, exluding low-income people. Most immigrants are also ineligible for Medicaid. and - "health care stratification would certainly worsen without the ACA" there are studies to back this up The impact of the ACA has been studied extensively and overwhelmingly show it has improved the access to care, especially preventive care, and health outcomes have improved. And guess what? This makes overall healthcare costs go down. Win-win. |
