Stir fry. Oh, I can make it, and everything comes out ok, but no matter
what I do or change, they always taste the same.

Luckily, Chinese restaurants are cheap and readily available.

That is only because of uneven cooking you get from an electric
toaster or salamander. Toasting with gas can make it more even because
it takes longer to warm up the elements so they are at a higher
temperature and usually stay that way longer, like that of a cast iron
skillet

i find it difficult to skin a salmon filet. perhaps i'm using the wrong knife. i was taught to use a steak knife(not the knife you're thinking of; it's a long curved knife which was designed to cut for example to slice up a whole strip loin into steaks). some people they get it right and take that whole skin off in seconds. maybe i should try a boning knife.

How do you marinate liquids? And what's the use when you can just
'add flavor as needed'?

I think I can s[peak for most everyone when I say you really need to
lay off the incessant gluten free preaching.

But if it's just me, then I would just tell you to STFU already.
This is not a gluten free group and nobody wants to hear it. I'm
sure they'd appreciate you at any the hundreds of GF forums with
like minded people. But here you're just an annoying asshole who
made half the killfiles in near-record time.

Well the thing here is the gluten will actually degrade the flavor,
the protein that is gluten will very much "sour" what is otherwise a
perfect flavor.

And just because you are prejudiced against what you thing is evil
magic I am sorry, but I am sure that there are a few people reading
and possibly saving this to perhaps just at least try it one day just
to see what I am talking about or if I am full of crap, If the
instructions are followed exactly then I know without a doubt they
will be amazed.

the best thousand island dressing i ever had was when i worked at a local steakhouse while going to high school. it wasn't made on site but was purchased from a company somewhere in quebec. absolutely the bomb. really different than most thousand island dressings out there.

I noticed my husband's CPAP headgear was made in Mexico. It probably
cost a buck to manufacture, $100 for the regulatory requirements, and
had an MSRP of $400.

You're right, Sweden has a far higher proportion of foreign residents
than the USA.

Sweden is an EU member, which means that every citizen in the 27
other EU member states has the right to move, live and work there.

As of 2017, the percentage of inhabitants with a foreign background
in Sweden had risen to 24.1%. The official definition of foreign
background (sv:utländsk bakgrund) comprises individuals either born
abroad or having both parents born abroad.

That compares with 14 .1 % of foreign-born people in the USA

That's the figure for USA. The figure for foreign born people in
Sweden is 24%.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Sweden#Immigration

"As of 2017, Statistics Sweden reported that around 2,439,007 or 24.1%
of the inhabitants of Sweden were from a foreign background: that is,
each such person either had been born abroad or had been born in Sweden
to two parents who themselves had both been born abroad.[25] Also taking
into account people with only one parent born abroad, this number
increases to almost a third in 2017"

Well, he's tried being a caring son, friend, husband, father, computer
engineer, nurse, commercial chocolatier; made a complete hash of all of
them and/or got dumped.

Now he's trying to convince India and usenet that he's a wealthy but
non-capitalist international property magnate.

Just a matter of time until the tenants and/or the taxman prick that
balloon.

I think we can all picture the scene: Grocery store goes dead
silent while everybody at the checkstands stops what they're doing
and small groups of people emerge at the ends of the aisles, to
stare with green envy as John, emitting this heavenly White light,
walks into the grocery store hand-in-hand with his Lady Love wearing
his "I'm Wealthy" T-shirt. And after a few long moments of silence,
John proudly declares, "We need green beans".

No, you can't picture that? That's what John is seeing. We're
probably just watching the general release version of the movie
while John's watching the Directors Cut. Poor Lady Love is probably
wondering how to turn on the damned subtitles.
