I don't think she was talking about a crowd swarming. I wouldn't serve a very large cold cut up deli meat sandwich to guests. Just me. I like the looks of the small onion tarts. Mini quiches would work nicely, too. Appetizers made with mini rounds of party rye bread with ground Italian sausage and cheese are nice, too. Snack food. Jill |

Speaking as a motorist, a motorcyclist and bicyclist, I have to agree that a portion of motorists definitely need to behave a little better, but it is the pedestrians and bicyclists who have the highest percentages exhibiting bad behaviour. I live in an area that hosts bicycle races, so we are cursed with cycling clubs practicing. Stop signs don't even exist for those guys. |

If I had visited any of those countries I would not have been there long enough to be conversing on an hourly basis with any of the natives. Now that we are being swamped with Latinos, I can see where learning Spanish would have been a benefit if I interacted with them daily. |

Whoa, wait a minute there. You expect a person to walk from the living room to the kitchen just to adjust an oven? Seems silly to me to have an appliance on the wi-fi. Unless it can turn the potatoes or baste the turkey, what is the use? I do have a shopping list on my phone so I can add things as I run out or think of them. == Yes, I do have my shopping list on my phone. But it is ... just a list:)) |

In the last year we've gotten those electric scooters. Just this past week a rider was killed through his own fault. He was riding on the sidewalk, which is outlawed. He makes a sharp left off the sidewalk right out into traffic without looking and gets pulverized by a Lyft driver. He lived about 2 days before succumbing to his injuries. He was not a kid either, he was about 30 year old. It's not the first time these contraptions have been involved in a serious accident. Every time it was the riders fault. https://i.postimg.cc/Wz1XspMj/Electric-Scooter.jpg > I live in an area that hosts bicycle races, so we are cursed with > cycling clubs practicing. Stop signs don't even exist for those guys. I think you see that everywhere. Running through red lights and stop signs like they are invincible. What I find most annoying is the city has made MANY bicycle only lanes throughout the city but you'll find 3 or more riding abreast in the lanes meant for cars. Pedaling slowly so they can shoot the breeze while holding up traffic. |

There was even one reported in Savannah, GA last month. It destroyed a marina where they were about to have some boat races. Tornados are almost unheard of here in this part of the south. Jill |
