Tip: Let yer soy sauce evaporate down. I did it with an old container of Kikkoman. I think it was "tamari" Kikkoman. OTOH, I like "dark" Thai soy (Best Boy?) and blackstrap mollases, neither of which I currently have. ;) nb |

I'm still dollars ahead though. I looked at the two verifiable sources you cited - OSHA and the news site. Pretty weak, comparing one failed safety inspection and one death to what apparently is a pattern of poor labor practices at Amazon, not just related to injuries and deaths. Admittedly the death rate is not high but the Amazon thing has even been reported on by Fox news. I don't think it's a conspiracy against Amazon. |

I did not understand the objection. Being good at sports betting would not necessarily make him proficient in other areas. > answering many questions then in final question, he certainly > would have bet all the money (like 24K or so) but all he bet was > like 1.3K. WTF? That loss was preplanned. He might have got bored with the game. He is a gambler. He said that he thought his opponent would not get the answer. He may not have expected her to bet so much, especially on that category. > That low wage was his protest. Hopefully they paid him well > though. > No more Jeopardy for me. "Fake News!" WTH??? Go out and get yourself a tinfoil hat to help you figure out the conspiracy without them reading your thoughts. I don't think Jeopardy had any reason to want him off. Au contraire... they love it when they have a champion who is acing all the questions. It may be costing them money in prices, but they get more than that value in PR. People flock to the show to see how long the champ can hang in and, hopefully, become regular viewers. That puts their ratings up and increased the advertising revenues. The viewers are the product. |

Apparently Gary cares. ;-) FWIW... I hate the term "fake news". I hear it too many times coming from the lips of Donald Trump as he is fending off questions about the things he has been quoted as saying. I just can't fathom the idea of dismissing something he has said as being fake news when he was the one who said it. |

If I had to > part with one, I would part with the clothes washer before the > dishwasher :) I don't get the thrill of a dishwasher. I find it more tedious to load and unload the dishwasher than to simply wash the dishes after each meal. It doesn't takes me much longer to do the dishes by hand than it takes to load the machine, and later they have to be unloaded. |

People who use their dishwashers a lot seem to think that those of us who don't are not thinking with our heads on straight. It is not a matter of house keeping pride for me to do dishes by hand. I don't really enjoy housework and cleaning up the kitchen. I do it because I think it is easier. I prefer to do it in small doses. |
