Yes, that must add a lot to the police's fear. Every Tom, Dick and

A quick google of "police brutality Hawaii" yields quite a few hits.

I am now seized with an urge to buy a gun and carry it routinely. (In
Michigan, you can't open-carry a gun that someone else has purchased,
or I'd just grab one of my husband's guns.)

Yes, slavery is a terrible historical fact. Note: Great Britain was the
world leader in the slave trade until an act of Parliament finally
abolished slavery 1833. dsi1 needs to stop pointing fingers at the US
(need we remind him he's an American?) as if the US was the only country
(a fairly new country, at the time) that had slaves. I think we can all
agree slavery was a horrific thing.

Exactly! And 1000x the dose of some powerful drug like insulin COULD kill a person!

Prick: make a small hole in (something) with a sharp point; pierce slightly.

Since you can't even easily calculate your weekly work hours, you SHOULD NOT be trusted to calculate dosages, let alone be allowed to work in a health care position...

Maybe you could empty bedpans, but that is about all you should be trusted with...

Nurses need be precise, they need to know how to make 'mathematical'
calulations... Kootchie is already an expert in calculating
alibis/excuses.

Is that the pay date, or the end of the pay period? Maybe the ends of
the pay periods are the last day of the previous month and the 15th,
with 5 days for payroll processing.

In the U.S., every employer decides the best way to process payroll.
Weekly, biweekly, semimonthly, monthly are all common.

I get paid semimonthly. When my husband was working, he was paid monthly.

I suspect he meant to type "worked" rather than "work". It's
a common error that I've occasionally made myself.

My frank opinion? He's too narcissistic to read what we write with
any attention and too mentally scattered to write clearly.

Geeze, you sound like Sheldon.

Where do you store your glassware? Mine is in the kitchen, near the
sink where I wash vegetables. I also have a bunch of Pyrex bowls
that I use for everything from salad dressing to soup.

<https://www.amazon.com/Pyrex-Simply-Store-Container-6-Piece/dp/B0000BYCGF>

I'm not crazy about plastic measuring cups, so I have a couple of Pyrex
ones. However, I have a couple of these for mise en place:

Although I didn't pay $17 for mine.
