Ha! I always thought it was just me who thought Chapstick was a half
brother to candles. It would never 'flow' onto the lips but would just
drag along.

It's Vitilago (Michael Jackson had it)

Also on his private parts. Don't ask me how I know.

Sanitized no coin needed. A limited stock of Chinese floppy hats $8, covid compensation I guess.

The last couple of times I've been to Aldi the carts are free and sanitized
before you select one.

The last time I went to Aldi, you had to put a dollar in the cart and
it wasn't sanitized.

She killfiles me but can't stop talking about me. It's kinda touching.

You like that now? I always thought you hated it.

Mine is hot tea. Note he is still making up names for me and claiming
I did it first which is bull.

Exactly. Scott lasts a very long time. It's soft enough and stronger
than the 2ply stuff.

Judging by her posts in the past, she excels at cooking food that no-one
wants to eat!

LMAO thinking back to the time she told us something she has since
denied..... that her husband used to stop and eat supper on the way
home. I had mentioned that before and she came back and denied saying
it, but there are others here who remembered that story

I never said you did it first. Besides, "names"? Always the same name,
cshenkie.

But anyway, you meant hot tea. Maybe you're more North than South
then.

I used to hang couple bird feeders out for the birds to help them out
during the winter. They repaid my by hanging around and shitting on the
laundry when I hung it outside to dry. The easiest solution was to stop
feeding them.

LOL Hmmm, when I was a teenager my mother hung laundry out to dry.
Personally, I've never done it. Oh, I hang things to dry in the
bathroom but there aren't any birds crapping on anything in there. ;)

There is a very large feral cat I've sorta, kinda, maybe made friends with.
He comes and sleeps in my glider chair on the porch and I put out food and
water for him. What he doesn't eat the birds swoop in and finish off. When
he leaves I bring the unfinished food inside as the birds have taken to pooping
all over my front porch. GRRRRRRRR

I hung out sheets on the line today to dry. Cool for this time of the year
in the low 60's but it was breezy so they dried with no problem.

It was nice and windy here, but it was also only +3C and misty, so we
use the dryer today.

BRRRRRRR, that's too cold to hang out anything.

I have been much happier with my replacement Dyson. It seems that I had
indeed had a lemon and they replaced the entire unit. I have to
remember to charge it up and to empty the canister, but it does a great
job. My dog doesn't like it and tends to bark when I use it, but a
couple seconds of chasing him with it solves that quick enough.

Back to the Urban Peasant... not the diddler Urban Gourmet, I liked his
show and his easy going attitude toward cooking. He was the source of
one of my favourite recipes, salmon fillets wrapped with phyllo pastry.

I remember a recipe from the Surreal Gourmet. He wrapped a piece of
salmon in aluminium and put it in a secure spot on the engine of his
car. He then went for a drive to cook the salmon.

(Does this count as me posting a recipe?)

I think it should! Unless you were just sniffing Dave's butt again.

Nothing wrong with Hawaiian Kimchee, it's just that it's roots come
from Japan. You learned it on an island 1/3 roughly, Japanese.

Checking where the popcorn is, just in case...

Yes all in containers. We line them with legs of old blue jeans which
helps retain water.

Planting in ground is problematic due to run off of neighbors
pesticides. Raised, they are easier to reach and do not have that
issue.
