Davers, if you had described it that way I would have agreed.
It was your original wording that was odd to me. Never heard
anyone say it like you did:

-------------------------------------------------------------
Most rock is either a three chord
progression, the 1st, the 4th and the minor 7th, or the tonic,
the sub
dominate and the dominate 7th. If it is a minor key it is the
same three
chords but they throw in the relative minor of the tonic. Punk is
basically the same.

That came across as a bit too analyzed and like something out
of Music Theory class or just a quote from Wikipedia.

I like the song Diablo Canyon by the Outlaws.

A bit to analyzed???? It's pretty fucking basic to rock music. I said
that you did not prove me wrong.

I used to shop around 7 in normal times. Made the mistake of being
there for 'seniors' and thought I would go nuts :( They didn't follow
the arrows, held about six carts up behind them and bloody awful at
the checkouts now they are having to learn how to use debit cards :(
So now I go about 11 a.m. - seems the fastest time.

My regular grocery store used to be open 24-7 but during this
virus thing, opens at 7am and closes at 9pm. They don't do
the early hour for seniors thing. I've been going lately
between 8:30am - 9:30am. No crowd and no long lines.
No one-way aisles either. No masks required but I have worn
one the last 2-3 times just because most others do.

There was a time when I switched to grocery shopping at 7-8pm
on Friday or Saturday. Not only going for food but also
prime "hunting season" for single women with no date that
night. That theory of mine actually turned out quite well. ;)

On the other side, I suspect there might be a certain percentage
of Democrats that also don't approve of their constant witch
hunt against an elected president.

Time will tell.

Recent polling indicates only 7% of Democrats approve of Trump's job
performance.

And that's almost a month old, so not very fresh data. Nor does it
necessarily predict their vote.

I have that website bookmarked and I actually looked for you in
the birthday month a few days ago.

I notice now that 2 women are listed first on May 18 before
you. That's how I missed it...didn't read far enough.

There you go speculating about my thoughts and gossiping
again, Bruce.

That thought has never crossed my mind ever when I see a
woman with bright red (or any bold color) lipstick.
I just think it's sad that they think that makes them look
better. A little makeup can be fine and even enhance some
but please leave your lips alone.

Women have a natural beauty and, to me, leave your lips
alone. Your real lips are perfect, no need to fix what
isn't broken.

I see so many very beautiful actresses on TV or movies with
no lipstick. Then look at them on the red carpet preshows
of Oscar's, Emmy's, etc. Dressed to the hilt and most
with bright red lipstick. What a sad transformation.

You like natural food. I like natural women. That's all.

Have you ever tried henna? That's a nice dark reddish brown
color.

My mom saved everything. And so do I.
More importantly, why do you still save it?

JK there. I have my old little league baseball jersy here.
Mom brought it one visit. I can't believe how darn small
it is. I must have been very young then. Maybe 10-11?

But with subtle makeup.

Too much is a bad look, I agree.

Natural food, but I don't mind a bit of salt.

I suspect we both agree mostly - food and makeup.
A little enhancement can be good but too much of anything
is usually not an improvement.

a good thing

Ok. The first time I saw it (on TV) was in Texas, so that's south.

A cup of hot water with separate tea in a bag wouldn't surprise me
here, either. Not that I ever order tea, but I see others get that.

Yes, tea made from leaves in a pot served with small cups is what I'd
expect there.

It'll be interesting to see what the virus will do now that
everybody's relaxing a bit worldwide. South Korea has already had to
get stricter again. Germany's seems to be having a new increase as
well. Australia's approaching flue season.

Oddly, I remember exactly the last time I bought
some. It was 6 months ago, first week of November.
A 2-liter bottle of root beer.

I was expecting a very long phone call the next
week and thought it might be nice to have for that.
Phone call ended up being fairly short so I never
opened it.

It's still in my fridge, unopened.

tea'.

reacted badly to it.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to slowly stock up on toilet paper
now. I never thought *that* would be the first thing to
disappear from a store.

Bruce wrote:

Last time I ordered iced tea in a restaurant, it came in a tall
glass first filled to the top with small ice before adding the
tea. Hence - you got about 1/3 glass of actual tea.

Then you added your own sugar to taste. Small packets on table.
That never worked. It's hard to dissolve sugar in very cold
tea in the first place plus it was almost impossible to even
try to stir it in with all the damn ice. Most sugar just
sat on the bottom of the glass.

It was a dumb drink to order.

Here's a project for you, Bruce.
Look up the ingredients of "Carolina Pride" hot breakfast
sausage.

I used to buy that but current grocery store doesn't sell it.

Thanks for posting that...saved in my recipe folder.
I might give that a try someday.
