I always add my own, anyway - I don't buy the self-rising.

At least in another thread he's actually considering *cooking* something
(cornbread). Most of his posts are just innacurate anti-American blather.

The thing is, Gary is using the kind of masks he used when employed as a
professional house painter. They're intended to prevent inhalation of
paint fumes. I'm sure there are more comfortable masks available. I've
seen people wearing bandanas as a mask, looking like the folks who plan
to hold up the stage coach in old TV Westerns. :)

That's okay. I am not the list bit surprised that you would dismiss a
news report that disagrees with you opinion. There are a number of other
sources that have reported that the mother claimed the cops has shoved
her daughter off the balcony and that she later retracted that claim.
Now they are complaining that they police didn't handle the situation
well. Once again we have seen a person who has been let down by family,
friends and the mental health system, and when they have to get the
cops involved.

Frankly I am getting frustrated with people demanding that the police be
better trained to tell with people in crisis. These people have
invariably been let down by their family friends and the health car
processions. The police end up getting called when things go bad and
then the cops get blamed from not being as well trained as the mental
heal professionals who had not been much help either.

I'm guessing you might if the Queen requested it of you. I can imagine

LOL but no, I don't think I would.

Bending a knee, besides showing an oath of loyalty or showing respect, can
also be a show of protest/disrespect. Pretty awesome, eh?

We have a fuerte avocado tree. In a good year it produces more
avocados than we can eat, but only one in every 2 or 3 years is a good
year. They taste great, better than supermarket avocados (which are
probably hass avocados). But it's still a subtle flavour. Great with
an egg and a bit of salt, though.

Of everything else the tomatoes looked the most edible... WTF are
those brown lumps? I'd have preferred a lot more lettuce with those
tomatoes, perhaps some other veggies too... hold those turds.

I was wrong. It was a Tobe Hooper film but written by Spielburg. And
it was 1982.

Ooops! Hadn't you seen the previews?

> into the tv to another dimension land scared the hell

In the movie, the young kids were sleeping in their parents' bed because
they were scared by a huge storm. The parents (Craig T. Nelson and
JoBeth Williams) were smoking a joint and having a good time when the
little boy came in to say the storm was scaring them. The dad convinced
them the storm was moving away, know how to tell? Count the thunder
after the lightning. Boy was he wrong. LOL

The kids ran in to sleep with their parents. Everyone was asleep when
Carol Ann woke up, climbed to the end of the bed and got down in front
of the TV and put her hands on it. And then the hand came out of the TV...

I have to wonder why those folks never turned off their television sets
when they went to bed.

"They're heeeere!" Scared the heck out of me and I was in my 20's. I
can only imagine what impression it would have had on your 6 year old
daughter.

Might have been sound advice, Graham. I actually had a TV get fried
(this was back around 1984) during a thunderstorm. Lightning struck
nearby. I heard a POP! and that TV was history.

When I was a teenager we were told not to talk on the phone during a
thunderstorm. Might get shocked! Ah, the good old days. ;)

Yes, to me, chili or chilli always refers to the pepper, unless it's
followed by 'con carne'.

I won't touch anything that gives chili or chilli as an ingredient! I
am never sure what they are, but we can't eat anything spicy so I stay

My last grocery store trip was on May 15. I'll finally go
tomorrow or Wednesday.

As always, I'll wear my face mask while inside.

This one is good. No need to buy a mask or make your own.
Use your imagination.

This is perfect. Wear it even outside if you care to, just
pull it down to your chin when entering a store. Do make
sure your mask is a clean one each trip.

Well john when you were 12 it was like 1895 or around there somewhere
and race was an issue.

all this crap that is happening now has nothing to do with race it has
to do with stupidity and a lack of education.

The only racist actions were the idiots painting black lives matter on
the street and naming that plaza black lives matter plaza.
People are SO FUCKING STUPID.

The black people want to scream "racist" for whatever their agenda is
and not all black people are like that. I am just talking about the
idiots that are painting the damn street and those that support that
crap

from costco and put it on chips and also put some in a soft tortilla
then added some lettuce and tomato.
