No. It's only smoked if you buy smoked bacon. Durrrrrrrrr...

we mostly use them as filler or in burritoes. simple stuff
or even eat them plain, with butter or a little cheese.

if i feel like i want more spice then i get out some
oregano, garlic salt and cottage cheese and turn them into
mock lasagna filling (without the egg and parmesian cheese).

i just thawed out a jar of beans from our last pot that
we made and i don't know what i'm going to do with them
until it happens, but i have been craving oregano lately
so this may happen again soon.

I got an air fryer about a year and a half ago. It sits out on the
counter because we use it a lot, mostly for home cut air fried fries or
roasted potatoes, or for cooking up frozen sweet potato fries.

We put the cut potatoes in a stainless bowl, drizzle a little oil on
them and toss them around until they are evenly coated. It really
doesn't take much oil to do the job.

Yeah , but if you try that with chicken all the coating falls off . I
do basically the same as you do with taters , just in a zip-lock baggie
. Hmm , I wonder if coating the chicken with oil first then rolling it
in a seasoned coating mix would work .

I worked for one week plus as a $30/hr RN and just got a $3000 biweekly paycheck.

But now I'll be working 2 days a week, 3-7PM, for $25/hr.

Well, John, I do work full time at a business I own so I can retire
before I turn 60.  Are you looking for congratulations for paying your
debts late?  A pat on the back for the interest and penalties? Do you
realize you proudly posted something that every working American does?

No, but almost that much per week.

Yes, but I am glad to finally get 2017. 2018 and 2019 behind me as far as taxes, Fed and State. Whew!

And I'll have income to declare in 2020! Yay!

It's been decades since I made one. It's tasty but a huge endeavor.
I've contemplated doing one with store-bought white bread slices with
the crust cut off. That way it wouldn't make such a huge loaf. A
Pullman loaf works best.

Every area is different. In highly populated areas. they don't have time to
go to each door, much less each house.

We'll see. My one neighbor went to the post office. He has yet to get back
to me.

Speaking for the whole country now? I live in a highly-populated area
and my mail is delivered to the box on the wall outside my front door.
By a postal carrier who actually walks up my steps! Amazing, ain't it?

Single houses isn't high density.

I'm sure Mr Evans is genuinely feeling a sense of loss. But given that
Aunt Jemima was a role (not a person - dozens of women have played Aunt
Jemima in order to sell the products), and the image Quaker uses today
has undergone enough revisions over the years that it surely no longer
resembles his great-grandmother, I am unconvinced about any claim of
"erasure" of his family history. In fact this change in marketing strategy
has renewed interest in the history of Aunt Jemima - she's at the top of
the google search charts.

Anna Short Harrington hasn't been erased from the Wikipedia page. She's
all over the internet. She'll never be erased.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aunt_Jemima

Mr Evans may not even be her great grandson. When he tried to sue
Quaker in 2014 the case was tossed because of a failure to prove
he was related.

and now for another take on Quaker's decision -

It's used for (as above) close friends of your parents. 'Auntie' is
used sometimes but to refer to someone age 70+

how much you are paid.
