Easy enough to see if you have a decent newsreader that shows
the history of the thread. Thomas was replying to you.

Even my ancient newsreader shows that. I have the option to
view brief, normal, or all headers. I keep mine set to "normal"
usually.

Here's a screen shot of what I see. Look at the last line
of my headers "References" followed by numbers that are all
active links. If someone doesn't quote anything, just click
on the later numbers to see the history of posts in the
thread. No confusion ever.

Much as I love pineapple, and I really do, I believe it never belongs on a
pizza.

In my book it represents all that is wrong with over-elaborate pizzas that
are now all too common.

Your mileage may vary and I would never tell anyone not to eat a pizza in
any way they like ... but my stomach says yeuch!

It's a cluster mailbox. Like this:

Houses don't have individual mailboxes here.

Sort of. Not on cement though. On a metal pillar. It's called a cluster
mailbox.

I highly doubt that you got a cluster mailbox with 8 mail compartments, 2
parcel lockers and an outgoing mail slot. That's what we have.

Those are not allowed here. We have to have cluster mailboxes with locks.

Correct. Mine has 8 boxes, two parcel boxes and an outgoing mail slot.

Yeah. They're blowing them up here. Locks do no good.

Actually it is. I've had to wait in line for two hours. I'm disabled. I
can't do that. I spoke to another neighbor earlier. He's going there later.

Yep. But it's this one:

That is not what I was told. I was told that it was up to the residents to
replace it. How? We don't know.

Nobody seems to know. These houses were built in 1982. I spoke to the one
neighbor who bought her house back then. She said it was there then. What we
actually have now is two units side by side. One is the parcel lockers and
the other is the mailboxes. They don't seem to make them that way any more.

Instead it further divided our nation and emboldened crazy white Karens to demand that Mexican-Americans, Asian-American, and Latinos, go back to where they belong. The good news is that the negros are no longer being told to go back to Africa. The bad news is that they're now told that they're going to get their asses called on by the cops.

I don't like smoked foods or ham. The soup was actually very good after
sitting in the fridge all day. I did wear that scent once. I think I was 8.

A better comparison would be to google for rooms for rent near
UMSL. A tiny sampling indicates a rent of about $600-$800.

For a whole house, yes, not just a room in a house. Plus annual Real Estate taxes and insurance. And 3068n Bellerive is a FOUR+ bedroom house! Yet I am allowed only TWO unrelated housemates, and that's exactly how many I an renting to right now, which seems a waste, but because of an antiquated Occupancy Permit ordinance which actually contains the phrase "(excluding servants)" limits me to only having TWO unrelated housemates!

And WHO has servants anymore? Few to NONE!

And THAT is why in six years when I retire I'm running for Mayor of Bel Nor and try to change things for all Bel Norians for their better!

Originally JK was letting rooms to four "housemates", but as they
departed it became harder to find new tenants; even though he had
reduced the rent. Now he's down to two tenants paying reduced rent.
Worse, the common bills that were shared between five, are now shred
between three. And years of unpaid tax have finally caught up with him.

His income shrunk as his outgoings rose. Result, misery, as Mr
Micawber warned.

But only if they agree to taking the job. People with no skills
don't have many choices.
I heard a brief news thing last week that TARGET is going to
start paying all employees at least $15 per hour and some bonus
money for cashiers. All starting in July? Not years from now.

Did I hear this wrong? It was only a very brief news bite.

That's a pretty good starting wage for uneducated people.

Your first clue should have been a "goremay" store selling
a 32oz (946ml) bottle of EVOO for only $2.21.

That sounds like a "get rid of the crap for cost" price.

Again, have you opened one and tasted it yet?
I've had much better.

Even those old tiny bottles of Pompeian EVOO had more flavor.
