Thankfully, you're just never been in a situation where a gun was handy
and might very well have saved your life.

Perhaps not. You'd have to be in fear for your life. I'm sure the defense
attorney would ask "Why didn't you just drive away?"

They look better under the snow.

This is simple. I take a pound of bacon and cut into strips about 3/8"
wide. toss into a large enough pan, mine is 11".

Original recipe called for sweet onions but works with any. I used
about 5 quartered and sliced. Once the onions are near done, I gave a
glob of Dijon mustard. a half cup of brown sugar and maybe a cup of
bourbon and stirred. Cook until reduced.

With steak I usually make onions and mushrooms but did not think to get
any until too late. This was good though.

The FAA is testing the compatibility of airplane equipment with the 5G
signal. Not all have been approved yet.

The FCC approved the use of 5G but the FAA is saying there may be
problems.

Like you, no plans to fly in the near future.

Nah. I used a tape measure and measured the outside section of the
freezer. Naturally, the inside is a bit smaller but no need to nitpick
between 8 and 9 cubic feet. What I have is plenty for me. Just why do
feel the need to have larger?

My freezer is almost exactly 1/3 of the fridge size.
Are we comparing toys here again?

Same here. I just did that a couple of hours ago and it was confirmed to
be sent.

I agree also. A top and bottom crust gives the proper amount of "bread"
to the filling of pot pies.

Bake it, stir it all up then have a nice feast.

Same with dessert pies. Always a bottom crust but sometimes not a top crust.

That's interesting. I've never thought of breaking the crust and stirring it all up. That's kind of weird - but it might be brilliant.

US COMMAND – Berlin – Department of the Army

If you are approached in the Soviet Zone, remember:
1. Don't commit yourself to anything
2. Ask for time to think it over
3. Remember all details about people, conversations, and locations
4. Don't investigate the incident yourself
5. Do not discuss it with anyone
6. Never reply in German to a Soviet Zone German in uniform - ask, in English, to see Soviet Military staff
7. Report immediately afterwards to your Commander

Thank you for your unintentional reminder, Jill.

I've got another 4-quarts of chicken/turkey vegetable soup simmering on
the stove this morning and I forgot to add a little pasta for noodles.

I use larger pasta (so far) but the angel hair would be perfect for soup
as they all swell up in soup. I break them into very short pieces before
I add them. I just added some linguini to my soup and I've got Angel
Hair on my grocery list.

:)

Talking to my daughter yesterday, she made a large batch of spaghetti
sauce with meatballs. Said she made some extra for me if I was
interested. Oh heck, yeah!

No need for such random bullying.
Read Ophy's posts and be nice or just ignore her.
I've exchanged private emails with her and her husband and both are very
nice people. You have no idea who you are picking on.

Ah, Gary, but I do...

Did the "private email" thing with her, too...

My guess is that very shortly, it's going to be cheaper to rent a robot than to hire a human and pay him minimum wage. Humans are going to be in a real pickle!

I doubt anybody tried to get an entire server banned. It was an
unintended side effect of trying to get a handle on one problematic
person.

It's not censorship. Nobody is guaranteed a particular platform for
their free speech.
