Ah, thanks... I'm not sure why the first hit when I searched was the
Egyptian one.

Since this is now a multiple choice test, I'm going with "END OF JOB"... Lol

I think this black and white thinking is a problem in your country. A
is good. B is bad. Period. A is right. B is wrong. Period. Your
country's so very divided because too many people can't see grey
anymore.

Yes, and getting worse. Social media magnifies it to see who screams
the loudest. Facts don't matter.

Exactly. And shock jocks.

But are they American swallows? I wasn't aware that our swallows are
suitable for birds-nest soup.

Farm raised but they do not say where. Maybe like thinking Ford is an
American car.

I used the bottled lemon juice, and was judicious with
the sherry. For several years I've wondered what I could
do with lemon juice concentrate, the stuff that they use
to make the reconstituted lemon juice, but that seems
to be unavailable to consumers. One can buy orange
juice concentrate frozen, and I've used that in cooking.
Persian lime has sufficient acidity at regular strength,
but has a different flavor than lemon. Lime works
great with beef, but chicken is far better with lemon.

All citrus seems to go with pork, but I've never tried
grapefruit with any meat. Hmm?

It's interesting that you call it a "Yorkshire pudding." That's such an English thing to do. If they're small ones, they might be called a "popover."

Yorkshire puddings aren't usually cooked in a cast iron pan, and they
use beef fat. Dutch babies are the same basic recipe but they use butter.

My wife used to make Dutch babies once in a while and made a spiced
apple topping for them.

I think the British queen has eaten something really wrong. She's
spent 70 years on the throne.

The Hawaiian royals admired the Brits and traveled to England to pay homage to Queen Victoria on the celebration of her 50 years of reign. While in England, the future Hawaiian Queen wrote a mele dedicated to Victoria.

How long did the Hawaiian queen sit on the throne?

Of course, you were just a curious kid. I imagine it was a sharp
reminder of a bad time but in the end, it may have helped her to talk
about it.

First time I saw such a tattoo I sort of knew but did not ask. It was a
long time after that I read about the terrible happenings.

You might want to consider an ax or a maul for the heavy stuff. I'd kind
like to have a Pulaski, just for the hell of it.
