It's Rod Speed.

While no one claimed that Brexit would end poverty, we were certainly
assured that many things would become cheaper. I recall Jacob Rees-Mogg
specifically mentioning shoes and food. Many also voted to leave the EU
as a protest against the Tory's policy of austerity (required to counter
the ongoing effects of the 2008 crash in the economy).

It was to stop those pesky Europeans from interfering with our laws and
economy.

The aim of the propaganda is to make people respond emotionally, not logically.

Once the emotional investment is made, facts that contradict the narrative are ignored.

Purged, perhaps. Think of a gutted rabbit without a broken skin.
Or, we're talking apples and oranges. If a shrimp isn't E-Z peel, I have
a tool that takes care of the mud-vein and shell. Mud vein? Let's call
it a poop chute.

They (or you) make a narrow incision along the back with a sharp
knife, pull the poop chute out and leave the shell otherwise intact.
Best of both worlds.

I failed "Crustacean Surgery 101", and qualified surgeons are expensive.
I have sucked the heads in New Orleans once, but those were crawdads.
I also ate soft shelled blue crabs once. I felt I was gut munching.
That was enough. Right or wrong, I was through.
Although it would save Mother Gaia, I ain't solid with eating bugs for
dinner for the same reason.
I ain't a guts guy, except for sausage skins. I enjoyed fifty percent of
the snails I've eaten. I've eaten them twice.
To each, their own.

I've never heard that one before. I guess is depends on how people laugh on the mainland and how loud is loud.

We had Polish sausage and kraut with apples last week. I learned the
apple trick here. The hot-dogs were Ball Park. :(
I made a mistake a few days ago. I mentioned Ball Park corn dogs when I
meant State Fair corn dogs, if anybody remembers.
I used to buy Nathan's sauerkraut. I prefer it. Lately, all "my
supermarket" has is Claussen's. It ain't bad, but I prefer Nathan's.

The brand Silver Flake, canned, it touted to be rather good.

chips.

Here are my latest from... July 8th. They're a dog and half long
each (a Three Dog Night).

Thanks, I'll look for it. For forty years, all I ate was canned. I
changed to refrigerated because of the crunch, but I can easily go
