You said he was in the Waffen SS. you twisted the truth again. i never said he did charitable work. you did. you don't get it. i post that relatives of mine were in the waffen ss because i want people to know that i'm not embarrassed by that fact, or ashamed. the wss were just another fighting force. they were no worse than any of the allied combat units. they were probably trained harsher than others, but their goal was to kill the enemy. killing the enemy was also the goal of other combat units. you're also afraid to read anything that opposes your viewpoint which is that the allies were justified in committing atrocities, but the enemy weren't. my view is that no one should commit atrocities. |

That's odd, could have sworn after the siren went and we retired to the shelter, it was bombs that came down. There was also the unexploded bomb which arrived in my grandmothers asparagus bed, or the one which completely wiped out my husbands home in Portsmouth. |

Why do you worry about "someone"? People will do what they want. We don't celebrate Hallmark Holidays. Every few weeks I come home to find he's bought flowers for me. But never on Valentine's Day, Sweetest Day, or any of those other Days. Cindy Hamilton |

I'd use Barkeeper's Friend, but I don't know if you can get that. It's a mild scrubbing compound that contains oxalic acid. Cindy Hamilton |

The burners produce a nice clean looking blue flame and no soot on the cookware. The vent is larger than the stove and appears to pull. If it's the vent the problem is fixable as we can't change the fuel source. Another person mentioned that make up air may be inadequate. Going to get the appliance folks over to check it out. Appreciate the input. |

I have only one dietary restriction: I only eat FOOD! > John Kuthe... I don't think you understand what that is. I began to suffer from that when I was on that raw vegan diet. A lot of raw vegans suffer from it. I knew it was a problem for me when I began scanning others shopping carts and judging them, if only in my mind. Dining out became very difficult. I could have a salad and not much else. Yes, I technically could have fruit I don't like most fruit. I finally caved a bit and allowed myself to have cooked beans and popcorn as well. But the bulk of what I ate was raw. I did not see the benefits of that diet. I did not lose weight. I did not become healthier. But being on the diet led to my diagnosis of gastroparesis. These days, I try to eat healthy food. It's not always particularly healthy. And I do still judge. I always cringe when I see a shopping cart full of sugary cereal, cheap bread, candy, chips, regular soda and some crappy frozen meals. Especially when they have kids! |
