Dumbass mayor here has mandated masks for everyone now with many
exceptions. COPD, asthma, etc.

Even drumpf is beginning to say good things about masks. I guess he
ain't afraid to show weakness now.

I have COPD and wearing a mask has no effect on my breathing, I just
find masks itchy... and now they don't fog my glasses as after
cataract surgery I no longer wear glasses... amazing... I should have
had this surgery years ago.... I now have Superman vision, I can see
right though yoose ladies undies.... I think Joann is due for a trim.

Right. I don't own it. They do. Even if I bought it, I don't own it. They
have rules. You can't stick things in mailboxes either. Like a note. Unless
it's for the postman.

No need to ask. I can imagine fried rice and sauerkraut because I make kim
chee fried rice. My guess is that if I make it, it will taste like kim chee
fried rice.

Technically, we can both travel to and from Thailand, but few flights
available plus quarantine B.S and too many other hoops to jump
through. So, we're better off here for now, plus my wife may have to
stay longer until her marriage/partner visa is properly submitted.
It's been interesting to see how my wife has adapted to and embraced
the lifestyle here, even enjoying the winter.

Amazing, maybe someone should notify the post of this regulation. Every
week there are sale ads for grocery and drugstores, along with usually
worthless coupons, and a 'postcard' advertising 'final expense insurance'
and fast food coupons. All delivered by my postal carrier.

By the way, when I 'send' Christmas cards to my near neighbors they are
all hand-delivered b.y. m.e. with a notation on the envelopes "Hand
Delivered." I've yet to be dragged off to federal prison.

I'm pretty sure if you examined your junk mail, you'd find some sort of
markings that indicated carrier route sort:

I've "used" Circus brand "raw" peanuts (in the shell), but have never
even seen a "green" peanut. Seriously! ;)

Walmart sells these but I've never bought them... I like roasted
peanuts but something about the thought of boiled peanuts doesn't
appeal to me, however I buy other Margaret Holmes canned products and
they are very good. I probably should try a can of boiled peanuts if
only to claim I'm part hillybilly southerner. Various Margaret Holmes
canned bean products are a must for every pantry for when one needs to
eat good vittles but doesen't feel like cooking... all very well
seasoned.... puts other canned foods to shame... great limas.

Many people get yelled at for quoting an entire thread, just
to add a comment at the end.
That happens to Ophy often here.
I only snip irrelevant quotes.
That's known as netiquette manners, you cheap arrogant biddy.

Uh . . . no!
Ophelia is too lazy or stupid to properly quote previous posts. There
are lots of news readers out there that properly quote, but she
continues to use a borken one.

They lied. Whoever have them to you got that produce from a food
bank, they're not CSA boxes if they contain mostly the same stuff
(potatoes and onions) and they're "full". They're "banana boxes",
right? (you'll deny it but I won't believe you).

CSA's don't send people a ton on of just a couple things. And they
couldn't have collected that much without some of it going bad in
the meantime. Unless it came from a food bank...

It's not even Julie's mailbox, it belongs to the USPS the same as my
PO Box. However I pay yearly rent for my PO Box.
My country mailbox at the side of the road belongs to me, I purchased
it, installed it, and it's my responsibility to maintain it... but I
pay no rent for it, the USPS delivers mail to it the same as they
would and often do to my front door.
If the communal mailbox that Julie uses with others becomes damaged
they must have a binding agreement for maintaining it. So far it
appears that Julie hasn't a clue regarding the provisions of using
that communal mailbox.
We have one of those communal mailboxes that's used by the tenants in
that shopping center/strip mall in our village... it belongs to the
USPS... I don't believe they are concerned about damage, that thing is
built like a tank, and it's obvious that there are several cameras
installed atop the lighting poles some 40' high focused on it 24/7...
at night that entire area is lit up like a sunny day. At one end
there's a new Dunkin Donuts in the middle of the parking lot that
never closes, cop cars are in there all the time. We don't have a
Police Department per se, all those cop cars are marked County Sheriff
or State Trooper. I'm sure there are lots more cameras surveying the
area, that strip mall contains three banks. These days there's no
escape from cameras, every business has them, every cell phone.
